Inbox DashClock Extension for Android
It use to work and it was great. However, at the moment it continually shows that I have 18 unread mails. I know that this is not the case since I went to great pains to make sure that there are no unread mail in any folder. Until this issue is resolved I cannot recommend this.
It just does not work, spend hours trying to get it to work.
The extension doesn't work, I have tried it by itself and with other extensions.
I had to update permissions from settings and grant it permission to access email for it to update the unread counter instantly and properly. Works well otherwise..
I have a HTC10 on Android 6.0.1
Doesn't seem to work on Android 7.0
I have followed all the instructions for use, but I still get "ghost notifications" where it says I have two emails, so I deal with the two emails, but it continues to say I have those two emails. It only refreshes when I get another email, reboot does not affect it
Sometimes it's accurate, other times it doesn't update for hours, if at all. Disabling it for now and will check back in a few months to see if it improves
Still get stuck email counts, maybe duplicates, even after email is cleared.
I think there's something wrong with me permissions, for some reason i cant keep the mail access slide on , btw I'm using a nexus 5x and latest android update
It just does not work, spend hours trying to get it to work.
It keeps saying there are 5 unread e-mails but I dismissed them and it still says that
It always tells me i have some random amount of e-mails, even if I have none it will still tell me I have emails, makes it pointless.
The idea is 5*. It appears in application manager bot I can't see it in dashboard. I have gmail and inbox on my Galaxy j1
Stopped working with latest versions of Inbox (I have GMail installed and read the instructions)
I would love if the extension can give not only, "unread," but also, "not done." Inbox, after all, stresses marking messages as "done" or "not done."
I have a HTC10 on Android 6.0.1
Hasn't worked for months.
It shows notifications from 'Gmail' app & not 'Inbox by Gamil'. When I read the mail on Gmail, the notifications update.
Don't know why
It never displays a count whatsoever.
Hey I just want to be a good girl
All works fine now, good stuff
Great extention
Nothing shows up.
I will give more stars when it starts working. LG G3. I am excited for the concept since I only use inbox.
The first version had some minor issues but now that the developer has updated it it works very well! Very useful!
Latest update completed broke it. Doesn't update
Well it did work a few updates ago but now it no longer works. Sadly the developer can't see what wrong at the moment so no fix due for a while :(
Haven't had any issues with it. Working great
I guess like the rest of the latest comments this app is broken at the moment. Like the concept, but it doest work. Tried the Devs suggestions to troubleshoot it, but no luck.
The most recent update broke the actual tally of unread messages in all categories regardless of the "Hide unread count for promotions" toggle's state. The Social tag can have five messages and the Updates can have two but the count will only alert you of 1-3 messages total.
Was working fine before but now it doesn't show up with anything in dash clock at all... Tried reinstalling the app too but no joy
It was awesome, but now it no longer appears on the widget. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin, as well as Dashclock and every other plugin, to no avail.
Not working with lollipop
After not working for ages, with the last update it's now retrieving the unread count - but doubling it. If I have 1 new email, the extension shows 2 unread. If I have 3 new emails, it shows 6 unread, and so on. Fix this issue and it's an easy 5 stars. EDIT: 7/18 update fixed the problem. Works perfectly, thank you!
Despite following instructions, the count of unread items never appears.
And how do I use it..just downloaded it but can't figure how to use it. I do not see the extension on my device or do not know where to find it..
Does not work...

Hey Marcus. Great work on the app, it's been functioning very well for the last week or so but today it's ceased functioning. I will reinstall + let you know if any improvements, but seeing as nothing's changed on my end I just wanted to let you know.
