About Multimeters ABC to XYZ of Digital Multimeters
Multimeters are the electronic measurement tools which help you to measure basic electrical quantities such as voltage, current and resistance. In other words, a multimeter is a combination of the voltmeter, ammeter and ohmmeter. Modern digital multimeters are loaded with multiple features such as capacitance measurement, temperature measurement, continuity tests, transistor working, battery testing, and diode checking. Keeping all these points and electrical industry in view this app is designed to give you the information about working of the meter. After going through this application you'll learn about the basic theory of multimeters as well as you'll be able to use your device for performing different calculations.
This app includes:
*** Basic introduction to the meter
*** Symbols which you should know while using the meter
*** All tasks which you can perform using DM
*** Battery testing and checking
*** Capacitance measurement
*** Diode checking using the device
*** Fuse checking
*** Frequency checking
*** LED Testing
*** MOSFET
*** Temperature Measurement
The online section of the app features Chapter wise information about Multimeter which is presented as follow:
> Chapter 1: Basics
*** Parts of multimeters
*** Important symbols
*** What does it can do?
> Chapter 2: Functions
*** Continuity buzzer
*** Battery check
> Chapter 3: Equipment testing
*** Battery
*** Capactitance
*** Frequency
*** Fuse testing
*** Temperature
*** LED Testing
*** MOSFET Checking

An Excellent and informative app on Multimeters. A lot of thanks to the admin team. Recently I was checking a 9 V battery with multimeters. What I did was that I simply checked the output voltages and was satisfied. However from your app I found the correct method of checking batteries via the multimeters. I also like other sections especially the symbols section which has a bulk of information. There is one suggestion however which I'd like to suggest. I'd love you to please elaborate the parts of practical multimeter, doing so will help everybody to learn about the physical parts and symbols. Thanks anyway either, Cheers
