Fresh - the new way to organize your grocery shopping - don't type - just scan!
Fresh combines Stock Lists (Inventory) for your Fridge, Freezer & Cupboards with a categorized Shopping List. You'll always know what you have in stock before you shop and you can add prices to keep track of your spending.
Scan
Portrait or landscape, single or multiple scans.
For items that can't be scanned you can type the barcode in.
If you scan a barcode of something not in our unique 'live' online database, it will go to a 'pending list', our team of tomatoes will add it ASAP* If you can't wait, you can add it yourself.
Stock Lists
Scanned items automatically go to the right list and automatically display the suggested days to expiry.
Sorted by expiry date - you can easily see what items are about to expire at the top of the list
Tapping an item lets you:
- Edit an item to add a note, change the description or expiry date.
- 'Bin' an item with the option to re-order by adding it to your shopping list,
- Add items to the Shopping List
- Move items to any other Stock List or the Shopping List.
- Items Moved to the Freezer are automatically set to a 30 day expiry date
Shopping List
Has Fridge, Freezer & Cupboard categories, now you can easily shop for those frozen items last!
Sorted alphabetically to make items easy to find.
Add prices to each item and see a running list total & total of checked off items, option to include sales tax.
Prices are saved so that you can compare on your next shop.
Add items to your shopping list by scanning bar-codes, 'bin and re-order', add from your stock lists, or select from the 'out of stock' list.
When you've finished shopping, just tap the 'Finish' flag to put checked-off items away to the correct Stock List automatically.

Backup & Synchronization
All lists are synced on devices with the same Google Drive account,

If our team of tomatoes can't locate an item they'll send a message to your app asking for your assistance, the information you provide will help others shopping for the same item. They are adding thousands of new products every week to our 'live' database and are guided by you! Each time a new brand or type of product is scanned they make it a priority to add more of the same! We believe you have better things to do then type lists, so just scan and let our friendly team of tomatoes do the typing! Our mission is to achieve over 95% success rate on your scans first time!
Our database is primarily for supermarket fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) including food, household & personal cleaning products, food supplements, health & beauty products, OTC drugs, alcohol & tobacco, however we are guided by you, our database contains many office consumable items since we know that customers often have a 'home office' or need items for school or college.

NOTE:
The Free version is fully functional but is limited to 10 items on your lists. The Paid version has no limit on the number of items. There are no adverts in any version. The App does not need you to register or log-in. (Google Drive is free and requires log-in)
TIP!
Need to try it longer? If you've reached the limit on the Free version, just 'bin' each item on your lists and you can add another 10 and so on. All items you 'bin' are saved on the searchable 'Out of Stock' List.

Great potential for this app. The database used to find scanned products is amazing. I would only add 3 things to this app. 1. To be able to categorize my products (tins, meat, dairy, rice & grains etc) and 2. To be able to search a product to make it easier to see if you have it in your pantry already and 3. App to combine quantities of items that you have multiple of (if you have 3 tins of diced tomatoes, combine to show qty 3 instead of 3 individual entries) otherwise this app is awesome

Vey few pantry items can be scanned to enter onto the lists. Too time consuming and your lists aren't accurate since so many items "cannot be found". I want a refund.

It does what it claims, has a nice UI and a decent working barcode reader. (Edit : As it turns out it does have a way to add products, and the devs are really involved with the app.)

Would be great to have search functionality on Stocks list. Also the option to change the volume available in the stocks list when an item is half used. *Increased to 4 stars because of good communication from developer*

Scanned 5 branded items and none were in data base. So uninstalled

Cool app. Please design it so that it used an intent to request whichever barcode app is installed on the phone. X-scanpet does this, it sends a barcode intent to the operating system and works with whatever app is intlstalled. The barcode portion of the app doesn't work well, otherwise the app is very promising. Sort of sad that the barcode part won't focus right, because that's such a large part of inventorying.
