Lifemap - Tree of Life for Android
The app stopped working after a few days, showing this error on startup: "connection unsuccessful (file:///android_asset/www/index.html)" Reinstalling does not solve the issue
Far too immense to immediately appreciate. Navigation takes some getting used to. I know I'll be able to use this for quite some time to come. Very clever and nicely done.
It's amazing. Just one thing. Search doesn't work, rendering it mostly useless. Please correct it in the update. I love this app!
It's almost sad that there hasn't been such a complete interactive version earlier. Great work!
Fascinating way of exploring nature. Even if you're not a scientist, this app is just fun to play with.
Very good, but perhaps needs more English names in the graphs for ease of exploration. Well done on overal design.
Nice concept, but it simply doesn't work. Whenever I open it it just keeps loading for ever and ever. It never worked, not even once.
Seems to exclude extinct ancient species; otherwise, very good. It's possible that a different graph type could improve the presentation of the data.
Excellent idea.I love it.Easy to browse and app working well. Now someone truly understands the interest of science enthusiasts, nerds, educators, students, researchers and scientists!!
Well executed app, fascinating and easy to explore.
Does not work well on mobile internet
Amazing! What wasn't possible without an encyclopedia before is now readily available in the palm of your hand.
Just wow... Non vegetarians really can't eat when they are related to every species
Simple, elegant and fascinating! I now feel the need for an Android tablet just for this app.
Search does not work
It's good to see some excellent work coming from my alma mater. Thanks!
Amazing app that just seems to get better the more I use it.
Can you use it offline?
Świetnie wszystko widać
Needs wikipedia links and English names. Without this, it's a useless novelty.
It is indeed a great work. Thank You a lot.
Luvverly..
Amazing
Incredible reference app! Been looking for a way to keep track of phylogenetic charts off and on for several years now. It's simplistic, beautiful, and informative. This has definitely earned a permanent spot on my home screen. Well done; I tip my hat to the creators of this fine app.
Fantastic app with neat visualization of the tree contents. The wiki description at nodes is great. Just wondering, is it possible to cache the contents or make parts of it offline if the entire tree is too huge for a phone. That would be a amazing and useful addition since it would make it faster on slow networks.
Very impressive app! The layout of the tree may cause confusion in its unrooted form, however. It may be beyond the scope of the project, but rooting the tree and providing estimates for most recent common ancestor would greatly benefit the app.
Really accurate with more information about genus, kingdom, specie, etc. when you click on it. Only really tiny problem: the "back" button doesn't go back but close the app.
Really cool app. I was looking for an app that maps out evolutionary lines so it isn't quite what I was after but hey I'm happy I stumbled across it in my search. Keep up the great work!
Beautifully designed app, very informative. Educational and inspiring. Only small issue is how difficult it is to double click/open the Wikipedia articles. Apart from that it's perfect.
i love the app, but wondering if it geys updates because they aer discovering new spicies and working on a new clasification system
Amazing work but would be neat if there's a offline version no matter the storage size.
This app does not help in learning, it's also hard to search if you don't know exactly what you are searching for
Anyone slightly interested in life will find this useful. Having a visual evolutionary companion in my pocket is awesome!
The sheer scale is awe inspiring. I just wish there was a way to bookmark noted to return to later.
The concept is great but navigation is difficult and it's lacking when it comes to extinct organisms.
Good app, but key groups are missing. Pterosauria in its entirety is simply absent for example.
Thats really damn good app with very small size
Really like it. Simple but nice looking. Like the link up to wiki. One small problem: double clicking on names doesnt reliably open up info panel. Randomly half the time it opens and quickly closes again. (Tablet, android). Nice work!
This app is amazing... But one thing to add would be subspecies...it's probably a big ask but it would be really cool

It a delightful study and research aid...but for some unexplainable reason it no longer allows me to search...rendering it mostly useless...I tried reinstalling it and restarted my phone and it has not worked...any suggestions? Otherwise brilliant app, hope the issue will be resolved soon
