This is a simple access to the new hidden "App Ops" feature in Android 4.3 and 4.4 (and not all of them) !
"App Ops" is a built-in application permissions manager.
This application is now open source !

Some apps require regular maintenance, as their permissions periodically reset. Not after updates or system restarts either. It just seems to happen randomly and by itself.

Allows me to stop Google's processes from keeping my phone awake. Saves me a lot of battery. Worth a go if you're having issues with rogue apps.

Shove Facebook and Google's location and contact prying right down their throats! Them and everyone else! Do not update to Lollipop/Android 5 if you want this to work. You will be amazed by the crazy things that have access to your camera and contacts. Like video viewing. WTF.

Useless and worthless. Cant be run on S4. Use MoboClean than removes all petmissions e.g. Facebook SMS. Encore une mer de française.

HTC was so nice to bring back AppOps functionality on their unlocked HTC Desire Eye which runs Android 4.4.4, using this App you get lots of privacy back! This also works on the HTC One, One max. Also on Android 5 on those devices.

Worked great prior to Google removing this ability in Android 4.4.2 and higher. Why Google doesn't want Android users to have the ability to block intrusive permissions from otherwise good apps probably had something to do with pressure from app vendors who insist on being intrusive pressuring Google to remove this feature.

Search "app ops" with the quotes and then try other apps that do this same thing. I have galaxy s5 with 4.4.4 and I got it to work. I downloaded app ops settings

Works perfectly on 4.4.2 running CyanogenMod, you should not disable it for users running 4.4.2 if rooted because you can still access it with xposed framework as well as with different operating systems like CyanogenMod or paranoid android etc
