Tignes

A lot of alerts are incomprehensible. The mix of English and French is confusing. Many tabs are not populated and the same picture opens for all the chalets. Can only be used in portrait not ideal for pistes maps. A good start but needs a lot more work. Not sure which version I am using.

Overall good. Live lift status is good and the map is good. It would be better if it remembered a language setting and didn't revert to French every time you opened it. Also there seems to be a delay in the alerts in English- they come up in French then only come up in English some time later.

How do you change the language settings. The app reverted to French and I would like it to be in English.

Rubbish, randomly changed to French language for days on end then back to English. Didn't use while in tignes in the end.

Presuming most of the reviews on here that are dragging the average rating down are from last season. They must have made some updates over the summer as from what I've seen the app is great. Can't think of anything else you'd want. Notifications for pistes and lifts, live map with lift opening times and much more. Good work developers.

Since the last update notifications work but the app itself won't download anything. If it does its slow!

Useless. No maps, events calendar out of date, and "coming soon" sections

User interface has far too much going on. Menus didn't work properly and I couldn't get a piste map on it. Pretty basic.

Rubbish. Poorly laid out without much info. They should look at Alpe D'Huez app to see how it's done.

How about having the option to set language to English!

Won't function on Samsung notebook.

Loving the updated app, last year was a bit iffy but they've fixed the annoying bugs.

Limited use.

The avalanche bulletin is great and the alert system is a good idea. However, the alerts disappear if you click on them and are nowhere to be found in the app which makes them useless if you wanted to actually read them properly. Still true for updated version.

Gets stuck on the loading screen most of the time, and completely unusable without a network connection despite claiming to have to have an offline mode. Design is very poor and it's hard to find things that should be obvious like lift status. Only redeeming feature is notifications for key lift openings and closures which are handy.

The application needs a language setting where notifications and snow reports can be given in different languages. It's a step in the right direction, but the app definitely needs far more work done to it.

Great idea but Insufficient beta testing. The alerts system is a good idea and the bulletins are informative, timely and accurate, but are not retained in the alerts section, so unless you see the pop-up, it's useless. Takes far too long to load. Needs more work but it's going in the right direction!
