Learn French with Le Monde for Android
Great for strengthening my French
Excellent app, humorous and entertaining way to learn French. The storyline keeps me motivated to learn more... at least so far! Very clear, fun (!) explanations of grammar and vocabulary, but possibly difficult for people with no experience learning a foreign language. I've received two offers to use the app for free ... it's perhaps worth the extremely high cost, but I wouldn't be able to afford it...
I do love the way the contents are being presented and how it comes alive. I really want to give it 5 stars but oh my goodness it's so expensive! I wouldn't mind paying £30-£40 one off for a great course but a monthly subscription starting in the mid 20s for the basic pro version is unfortunately too much.
I love the sense of humour clearly decernable! So whilst enjoying the the story I can easily remember the conjugation of the verbs, that slipped my mind over the years. I would still find it easier to learn from Nederlands, but manage with English . Marvelous program whilst enjoying a belly laugh: what more can I ask?
Useless app. It doesn't matter how many times you verify your e-mail account, it won't let you sign in. Uninstalling right now. Never downloading again.
An engaging way to learn French. I've also been looking for something to help me with listening comprehension, and this has been exactly what I've wanted.
A really good experience, the lessons and corrections seem carefuly crafted to catch most common mistakes
Lessons are short , easy to find the time to do them, cover wide range of topics and lots of grammar too
The worst app ever
Very personalized levels and a beautifully odd storyline
Great adjunct to Duolingo .
It's a nice way of learning French and I really really like it!
Artistic learning experience
Very helpful, although it's not for complete beginners. Or you just press "Je ne sais pas" to answer every question. I'm assessing my level through the 7 free lessons and I'm improving my French already!
Amazing hands on learning app. Much better than the other ones that just teach you words and make you repeat them endlessly, Frantastique actually makes you understand what you are doing.
The personalization of this goes in depth very much to my liking lol. Just tell Frantastique to quit flirting with me!!
Addictif ( envirante ); un super outil d'apprensstissage! Merci mille fois!
Super utile app pour ceux qui veulent réviser presque tous pendant le temps libre!
Muito bom. Extremamente didático.
One of the most fun way to learn, à mon avis!
It helps a lot
The best app to learn French
Funny, short, pleasing.
So cool
It really helps to improve our French skills
C'est très bien
Awesome and fun!
Best french learning app I've used. The stories are fun and engaging and I definitely see improvement in my vocabulary and grammar after just a few lessons. I just need to stick to it!
Awesome...wish it were more affordable, though.
great app!
Initially quite liked it. Then we bought another subscription as a present for a friend and even until 4 weeks later after the money was taken we still didn't receive an activation link & there was no response at all to our support requests. The WORST service ever!!! Stay away!
Alas you have to commit to 3 years for the lowest monthly payment. Just too expensive. I wanted to try as I went along to see if I got hooked. I did enjoy the free lessons. They were short and sweet. But giving my cc for auto charge for 3 years of lessons? Um, no.
I enjoyed the initial 7 lessons. They reminded me of my time learning French in junior high (French in high school was less fun). We watched humorous animations, listened to French music, watched French movies and read French novels (or tried too). The pricing is a bit prohibitive for month to month (nearly 100% increase from flat year charge) and I cannot be assured that my French proficiency will increase to such a level via use of this app alone to justify the price. Instead I will use a combination of more affordable methods on my path to fluency which together would amount to less than the cost of Basic monthly for a year (>$600) if not less than the discounted upfront yearly Basic package (>$300).
Is a good app very clear to learn, very nice. But extremely expensive. It is almost as expensive as live classes. It is a shame coz I like it... I think there is a error on the store coz it says 50 mxn per month for a 6 month subscription but 3000 when you want to buy it the amount is incorrect
The trial is amazing. But prices start at 28 bucks a month. If you're a serious student it might easily be worth it, though.
I use this app in conjunction with a number of others. This one offers an opportunity to learn some colloquial expressions as well as giving a detailed explanation of why any of the answers I gave were wrong. I would recommend it
When I acquire French proficiency, I will be better able to assess the effectiveness. I will be able to venture a good guess as to how much the app helped me. In the meantime, it is fun, and I learn (or at least I am introduced to) new things every day, I mean, five days out of seven. I wish there were a lesson every day! I paid almost $800 for this app, and the off days are annoying, thus I am withholding a star. Does the computer need two days off a week? I don't. Those powerful French unions!
Just exactly what I have been looking for but yes, it's more expensive than taking a real course in my country
Good app, too bad the cost to subscribe is too expensive... In my country is much higher than taking real course :(

Easy to use and a fun way to brush up on my French!
