Square foot gardening for Android
Huh? What is the point of this app? Not useful in any way, shape or form. Please delete from play store.
Not paying to place certain veggies. That's ridiculous...
Sucked, have to buy items just to use graph. So not worth it, very disappointed.
I have to buy vegetables to drop them in the planner? Bye bye!
Why say it's free when it's not
Not obvious how to use this app. No setting for growing zone.
No corn?
Pointless. Deleted
I was really hoping this app was better than most of the reviewers stated; it wasn't. Although the app declares that all vegetables are available in the free version, they are not (i.e. corn). I'm not even interested in purchasing the full version as the items that are supposed to be offered in the free version are not accessable. Great idea just wish it was a great app too.
I knew ahead of time I would need to pay to actually use the app, and I would have been willing to pay if it was worth it. I didn't find it very intuitive. Too many clicks and menus. I would like to see how many plants are in each square from the "sheets" view. There were also places not in English and random letters. Still looking for the right sfg app.
The free version has only a few vegetables and severe limit on number of squares. If you want to plant beans, tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, or any of the more common vegetables it requires upgrade and fee. Problem is there isn't enough capability in this free version to trial and know if that's worth doing.
It also doesn't say how to upgrade to any of the paid versions. Has a cart but no way of adding anything to the cart or explaining what it is for.
Not intuitive. Database useless. Plot dimensions not available to match actual areas (eg 2'x16'). Didn't bother to try anything else.
Would be a great little app if you could set it to your country and climate. Also needs to explain what the different colors for planting etc mean plus what the colored boxes next to the different veggies mean
Still allows me to only add two plots on one sheet. Advertised as 16 plots on a sheet, I click add it says "max reached for your version" as it did before. This app has huge potential as to why I supported the in-app purchase, but needs work yet. UI could be a little more friendly and would like to see print & export options and cloud sync ability between my tablet and phone. Make it better I'll pay more.
For free version, it's about worthless. Not sure why they bother, except to get people like me to look at it. No vegetables to speak of that are free, and no herb or flower section at all. Don't waste your time, and I will not be wasting my money. Old farmer's almanac here I come!
I wanted to see what this is capable off, but I couldn't even plant one vegetable without buying a version
Could only use a maximum of 3x3 square, & only 2 of those on free issue. Had to pay $5+ to use 4/4x4 squares or $11+ to use 20/4x4 squares. No mention of that in the download description. Unless your garden is smaller than 3x6, free version is useless.
Intuitive up to creating a grow bed, limited bed size and vegetable selection in free version. good info on possible plants but can't add them to the grow bed, crashed a couple of times. It has potential.

Could have been a cool app... But have to buy each vegetable to be able to put it in your online garden. I just wanted to plan a layout for my real garden. Uninstalled within 2 minutes.
