My CookBook (Recipe Manager)

Everything works OK but not great until you hit the meal planner which is really underwhelming... Then, once you plan your meals and produce the shopping list, it is grouped by RECIPE, and not by item. So is you need 10 tomatoes, you need to check every recipe on you shopping list to count up what you need, it doesn't know you need 10 in total. Doesn't work for me

Easy to use and read you can share recipes and be ready to write one down if you happen across a good one in a magazine.

Absolutely love the app. Able to take all my recipes with me when I go camping.

Love how easy to import recipes to my tablet. Got everything at the touch of a finger

I really like that you can import a recipe from select websites. It makes things a lot faster. To make this app better, I would like to create a shopping list by using my recipe(s). Perhaps make an option to "create a shopping list" by selecting your recipes. I really enjoy the ability to set tags. It makes finding recipes easier. However, I would suggest the filter search to include searching tags and categories, not just the titles. If necessary, add individual options to search title, tag, and category. It's always a compromise to keep an app sleek and simple or have all the bells and whistles. So far, you've done a great job at designing this app. Keep up the good work!

Works quite well with most websites and arranges them in an easy to read format, along with pictures, videos, and links back to the website from where they originated. It also allows you to type and share your own recipes. Can be saved to Drop Box or your own device. Nice.

PROS - When you have a compatible website (ie all recipes, food network, and a copy cat recipe site I go to) it's quick and easy to add. Plus you can easily add a recipe to as many categories as you like, and search by that category easily. CONS - If you don't have recipes on a compatible site, well then you either have to key it in by hand in the cookbook or into a compatible site like all recipes then upload it, or if you're strapped for time just add it to pinterest to key later.

I love it so much. My favorite feature is being able to put a URL into the app and it will automatically make a list of all the ingredients and the instructions for you. By far my most useful app and the one I use the most

So convenient not having to rewrite recipes and simply importing them directly to this app instead. So easy to use. Love it . Definitely glad I found this app. There's ads but they don't bother me much.

A few shortcomings, but still the best personal recipe keeper on the Play Store. Thank you! I would love to see: 1. A better scaling UX. Don't hide the button up top, I should be able to just tap the "Yield" graphic, and it should remember the original yield number, not the last used one. 2. Automatic conversion between metric and imperial units would be great. 3. Importing from web is a bit slow. 4. A "keep screen on" option. 5. Shopping lists UX is a bit clumsy. Just have a single list with automatic recipe dividers, with a "consolidate" option.

Great for my tablet use in the kitchen. Too bad that it refuses to accept several recipe formats.

My favourite so far out of all the cooking apps! I wish the shopping list was a copy of the recipe shopping list as i wanted to add some more stuff to buy like potatoes, which wasn't in the recipe, and by adding it to the list, you update the recipe. Plus conversion between units is a must!

I really like it but am confused about the online version I need something with more than 100 recipes.

I am so thrilled to have found this app. It syncs seamlessly from computer to phone to tablet. It's simple to input my own family recipes, not to mention uploading new recipes from websites. The only little complaint I have is that there are a few obscure vegan or raw sites that don't import accurately, but it's easy to correct input errors. Bottom line: my recipes are always readily available. Anytime, anywhere. Love it!!

I've been using this app for over two years now. It's not seamless, but it works very well for keeping recipes in a standard format and in cloud storage. I love being able to search and categorize every dish. I'm a happy subscriber.

Good, I like having my recipes backed up. I wish the shopping list feature was a little more in depth, like adding things with just a click or being able to delete the checked off items. Otherwise the main recipe section is just what I needed, simple, organized and easy.

Have the app on my Nexus 9 tablet with 183 recipes. Saved my .mcb file to Dropbox. Download the file to my Nexus 7 tablet. Open it and only have 63 recipes. If this can be solved, I'll give it 5 stars because other than this issue, I love this app. HELP!!!
