Permissions analysis:
1)android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION
2)android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
The app needs to know your location, to show the venues around you.
3)android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
The app stores it's database to your sd card, or if you don't have one, to the internal storage
4)android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
The app needs to know whether you are online or not to show you the right options for online or offline use
5)android.permission.INTERNET
Obviously the app needs internet access sometimes, to get the wifi passoword from foursquare and display the maps of the venues locations

Would be a killer app if it allowed to search textually on the map instead of dragging, I often want to know ahead of time how the WiFi coverage is in places that I am going to, and the dragging is a real pain. It works well when you do find the place you want, though.

The venues database needs minor update. Has ads. Great app overall. Don't forget to install radar for full experience. Thanks Thanasaki

Cannot see much or get passwords. I must be doing something wrong. I can only see about 3/4 of an inch at the top of the screen, of the map. I have an LG Intuition, a phone with a large screen. Plus I do not get any passwords or the option to download them. What am I doing wrong?

It does what it says. Its a very good app and yes you need to be connected for a short period of time in order to download the necessary data. READ THE DESCRIPTION
