Gift a Life

In India out of 1000 children 42 children die before the age of 5. Many children die due to congenital heart deseases as their parents cannot afford the cost of surgery. A typical heart operation in India costs Rs. 1,00,000 and if 5000 people donate Rs. 20 each, the money can be raised in 10 minutes! Mysore based Gift a Life Foundation Trust has come out with this unique idea to help needy children. At present the foundation helps children admitted n Narayana Hrudayalaya but soon will be extended to other reputed hospitals in India.
