Have a Nexus 6P. Just got the device today from Amazon and was excited to use it but like everyone who has the same phone, the app says that the device is offline. It doesn't work with the latest Android 7.0+ (I have the 7.1.2) and it's a major bummer. I also has the latest updated app and the latest firmware update on the device. Probably going to return it.

Good news AND bad news. It works well with my Lenovo Yoga tablet and a PC using Win10. However neither of our Samsung Galaxy j5 phones can use it. They are rejected at the 'enter password ' stage. One connected once! But not anymore. All are using Android 6.1 The phones can use the wireless hub, but the inability to connect means file sharing is impossible on these devices. For file sharing I still need to use a separate OTG cable and SD card reader. Really this makes this device and app 66% useless.

C70%

Clumsy but it works, mostly. Not able to stream to chromecast from the app. The feature works in iOS but inconveniently not on Android.

Great App. Works on android 7.1.2 after upgrading the devices firmware. Only downside, no ability to stream full screen. Other than that, great.

Works great. And I like that it reads the mp3s metadata. But really miss an option to just do Play All (shuffle) to all mp3 files within a folder.

Does NOT work with Android 7.1.2

***Update your Hub firmware from RAVpower website if you are using Android 7.0 and can no longer connect to the Hub using this app.*** Latest version didn't work on my Nexus 6p or my previous Nexus 6, both running Android 7.0. It would not connect using the app (saying the device was "offline") but would connect using the web page interface. The Fix: update the hub firmware from the RAVpower website, and the latest app will function with Android 7.0. App is a little basic looking, but it does the job of allowing me to backup my photographs from SD card to USB during road trips. Could be prettier....but meets my needs perfectly so I am pretty darn happy :)

Have to cast each and every photo separately. Pointless. It's not available for android TV, beats the whole higher purpose of streaming. Don't want to get into casting when I have an android TV box, it's counter productive! Now if I could install this on my box and access directly my huge media library, that would be impressive. That way it works not just outdoors but is a viable solution indoors as well.

C70%

The interface is way too outdated. Need auto backup option so that we can clear out space from mobile or laptop as needed instead of me trying to figure out when I last backed up and to be safe back up everything again and again. Many users complaint about not able to access on Android box for Media consumption and also limited format types supported. You can overcome these by using VLC for Android and it's also available for Android box.

It works. But it's cumbersome, tedious, and downright annoying. It looks like an app from Prodigy circa 1988. It's like they went out of their way to make it as ugly and awkward as possible.

C70%

This app will not read what's on the SD card it keeps saying failed to find file and even when I transfer files from my phone to the file hub it will not show the file this seriously needs to get fixed

Good easy, plug your iPod in it and stream. It on your phone.up to 5 friends. Put movies on a thumb drive or sd card watch it on phone. Or tablet.. back up files from phone or tablet. On the go.the one i have it has a 3000 mah. Battery. For charge the phone in a hurry.

Cannot open files ok mkv, mp4 extensions. Atleast there should be an option to use third party apps to open files. No point in downloading files onto device and playing when the primary purpose is to stream files.

It is OKAY in general, but it doesn't play HD movies well, there is a little crush every while and then. That's the reason I give 3 stars. When there's a better version I will update my feedback. Thanks for you, regards,

Super app & hardware. No easy delete for confirmation of transfered files one by one only. No info how many files in folder. Other than that don't leave for a trip without.

Doesn't organize files and won't allow me to move them to the designated area on the app of each different files type. I have to access files from the "files/folder" area.

This app creates THOUSANDS of .txt files on the storage system, probably log files. It would be great if the app automatically deleted these files after a certain date... Otherwise, I like it...

While looking fancy, the app is very crude and underwhelming. The photo, video, and audio libraries do not curate, so you're left with browsing the file directories. Casting works, but pictures are a pain where you need to cast and uncast every single picture. Really?? Leaves you to copying files locally to your phone/device to do things better, but then what's the point of the app/filehub?

Update...For those of you experiencing issues with Android 5.0 there is an update, ver 2.0.026. Email Ravpower support directly and they will email it to you. Tried it and it works perfect...Everytime I open this app it kicks out the WiFi connection to my RAV POWER. I cannot transfer files from my phone to my RAVPOWER RP-WD03 without this app. At least I can access my SD card files through the Web app but it defeats the purpose if you cannot have transfer files from your phone to the RP-WD03. Please fix!!!

This app works pretty good with my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge phone but recently got the Nexus 6p for personal use and the app doesn't see the hard drive connected. Please make this app compatible with Marshmallow!

While I can read files from the device I can't write files to the device. Very frustrating and defeats the purpose of this thing. Plus the card disappears and has to be ejected and re-inserted for it to reappear. And why are there two version of the software in the Play store? What the heck?

Customer service was quick to reply. Everything works as advertised. My only complaint would be that the device seems prone to scratches WD03. Other than that transfer speeds and it user friendly.
