Wir waren Freunde -Olimme ystäviä -sovelluksella voit herättää henkiin näyttelystä löytyvät kolme henkilöä kertomaan omat tarinansa. Tarinat pohjautuvat todellisiin tapahtumiin, henkilöhahmot ovat keksittyjä. Tarinoiden pohjana toimivat muistelukset, päiväkirjamerkinnät, kirjeenvaihdot ja kirjallisuus. Kuvat löytyvät näyttelystä sovelluksen symbolilla merkattuna.

Wir waren Freunde - Olimme ystäviä -sovelluksella voit myös kolmen kuvan lisäksi tutustua muuhun materiaaliin samalta ajalta selaamalla ja klikkaamalla haluamaasi aihetta.

Olimme ystäviä -näyttelyn valokuvat ja esineistö on pääosin koottu vuosien varrella Lapin Maakuntamuseolle tulleista lahjoituksista. Näyttely toteutetaan Lapin Maakuntamuseon omana tuotantona.
