Ylen Sibkompassi-sovelluksella kaikenikäiset voivat sukeltaa säveltäjä Jean Sibeliuksen elämään.
Minuutin mittaiset kokonaisuudet antavat uuden mahdollisuuden eläytyä Sibeliukseen paitsi säveltäjänä myös ihmisenä.
Kompassinuoli opastaa Sibeliuksen Järvenpäässä sijaitsevaan kotiin, Ainolaan.
Kompassi on taiteellinen työ, ei tarpeeksi tarkka suunnistukseen. Jokaisesta ilmansuunnasta aukeaa yksi Hannu Linnun johtaman Radion sinfoniaorkesterin esittämä sinfonia, jonka alkutahdit on kuvitettu videokuvalla ja animaatiolla.
Visuaalisissa ratkaisuissa on käytetty inspiraationa Sibeliuksen aikalaistaiteilijoita.
