Polar Flow – Sync & Analyze for Android
I'm updating my review because they fixed the bugs causing me to consider changing to a different device. I'd be happier with a few more features - like being able to see my progress in a particular sport. Maybe running mins per mile or similar in a graph. Also, I've struggled to find any apps that work well with polar flow when I use a treadmill to record my distances etc.
Have A370. Was working fine and syncing with mobile device for 2 days but now saying no devices found!!! According to phone it is paired but watch just keeps saying touch with mobile to pair. Was testing for a company but at this rate won't get a good review!! Was happy with it until now
Nightmare to sync with my Polar bike computer. Have to do that multiple times to succeed. Even if sync with Flow worked, workouts may not show up in Stava.
Everything was fine. Now my watch keeps failing at sync. It would be nice to have a normal timer where you could for example set 4 minutes and it counts down when finished an alarme goes off.
This app is useless on my Moto g5 phone. I can't pair it with my M200, I can't do any updates etc. Everything fails! It's also a shame that Polar doesn't have a software for Linux OS. I regret that I bought this watch. (Update: Troubleshooting worked. Thanks. But I still think that this app needs more work.)
Good app, I like it. My only issues is, probably from the last update, I can't see my heart rate on the graph. The app syncing with my A370, I see my hr on the website, but I don't see it in this app. The other problem is I don't see my lowest hr during sleep (on the web page). Its also worked a week ago. Please fix it. Thanks.
My only problem that I wish you will pass on, is that there really needs to be a scrolling smart notification on the watch or the ability to scroll the message with the down button. Half a message is really bothersome. Otherwise good app!
New update is very frustrating. Polar club sessions won't sync and update. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Un-pairing and re-pairing but nothing works. The consistency needs to improve.
Does the job. Bluetooth is a fickle beast, but that's not this app's fault. I wish there was a way to zoom in on the graphs. Plus for not being insecure by default.
From 1st February you need to share your phone's location with a 3rd party: Google services, unless the app won't sync with the watch at all. Why do I need to share this sensitive information with anybody, to use my (expensive) sport watch?
Lack of many features, you should add the flow features from the site to the app. Like the diary and progress that is much more complete on the website. Actually there is a way to access this on the app, go to the feed, then watch a video of a workout and in the end of the video click on the details. It's like it opens a new app! On the left side menu you will have all the options from the website!
Solid fitness tracking app. I haven't had any real issues.
Using a M600, unable to sync training data to app. App detects the device as a Polar loop (doesn't make sense). A frustrated user experience
It has stopped syncing with strava (apparently the problem is being fixed). Love my M200 though!
Great app. Works very good with the devices. Just the connection is sometimes not very good and you have to have the wearable directly next to your phone. Otherwise it is one of the best choices I made so far to improve my training.
Only thing missing is a profile for jump rope. If that is implemented I'll change my rating to five stars.
super app that allows me to connect my training to my nutrition and calorie counting app. Support is the best too. Polar should release a nutrition app to go with there other apps
I have an A370 and since the update of the app it won't sync with my device anymore. First day it did sync data but gave the message that syncing failed and now it won't sync at all.
In my opinion very easy and clear in use, supports you with essential info about your training. I'm using it for about half of a year by now and can definitely recommend. No bugs noticed so far as well. I'm working with M430
I can add sport profiles to my M430 via the app on my tablet, but not on my phone. When I contacted Polar customer support about the issue, they told me that you can't use the mobile app to add sport profiles to a device, the only way of doing it is through Polar FlowSync on a Windows or Mac computer, so I'm not sure if anyone knows what the actual issue is
Have to revise my review: Since update to version 3.6.6 syncing does not work anymore (Android 7, M430), already contacted support. What is going on there: Last December the problem with battery drainage, now won't sync.
Is it me or is there no synchronization for the v800 using the Samsung S8? Trying to pair it is a mission, constantly says pairing failed.
Since the update my A370 does not like to sync. I have rest the Bluetooth connection a few times. Please fix. :(
Not synchronizing at all, neither on android 8, nor on ios 11. Thinking of returning the bracelet completely! Edit: managed somehow to do the initial sync, but no syncing after that. The app sucks.
Since the last update, syncing doesn't work any more at all (with A 430). Before the update, syncing worked only sometimes.
Great app but some say dated I say if its not broke no need to fix it. Having said that I personally would like the option to customise the screens with different colours. Syncing is not an issue
Clean and concise design, not as detailed as the web app though. Would be nice to see the recovery status page in the mobile app.
Amazing app. It could be nice to have elliptical cycle in sports list ... But for the rest have everything I need so far. Sync works great with v800.
On m430, some syncing issues. On a370, some syncing issues, but significant notifications issues.
Easy to use, i mostly like to use it to track my workout. It syncs well with the watch making it easy for me to look at my workout intensities. Been using it for awhile now.
Works well can be tricky to sync with some devices.
Problems syncing since latest update!!!!
App is good with A300 watch. Heart rate graphs could use more detail, but over all it is good for keeping track of data.
Can't connect my samsung galaxy s7 edge, android 7.0 with polar a370☹️ somebody help!
Love it!! Great app!! Haven't had any problems with it
It would be cool if I could combine different exercises so I could keep my triathlon in one training section
You can follow people but their activity does not show on your feed.
Great app occasional sync problems with my M430 but otherwise easy to use
I would like to have more features, like when i access the flow webpage on my phone. Otherwise its nice.

Guys! Polar App updated and still the alarm setting is the same. We need custom alarms!!!!!! Previous review: I have had Polar watches since Bluetooth was still a novelty and ANT+ was the WOW thing. For me the A360 is one of the best products from Polar. This app is a great complement but for all the good things, my only pet peeve is that the alarm can only be set up either for all days or Monday to Friday. Guys, please think about those who work in countries from Sunday to Thursday. Come on, it isn't that difficult to implement a setting like that.
