RainMan säätutkasovellus sisältää tarkat ja zoomattavat sadetutkakuvat 5-15 minuutin välein. Kuvista voit seurata sadealueiden liikettä Suomen ja Skandinavian alueella.
Paikannuksen avulla voit seurata reaaliajassa sään kehittymistä sijaintisi mukaan.
RainMan sisältää salamapalvelun sekä ennennäkemättömän määrän muuta säähavaintotietoa. Ilmatieteen laitoksen meteorologit hyödyntävät työssään havaintotietoja samalla täydellä tarkkuudella kuin RainMan tarjoaa käyttäjilleen.

Nice info, IF it loads at all. Very slow to load any data, when I have a solid data connection otherwise. Would love to be able to use this more, but not bothering because of this issue.

Aiemmin toiminut hyvin, mutta pidemmän aikaa karttojen lataus on ollut niin hidasta että ohjelmasta on tullut lähes täysin käyttökelvoton. Vaikka wifissä olisi kiinni, niin silti kartat latautuvat erittäin hitaasti, jos ollenkaan. Jos onnistun lataamaan kartan kokonaan, siinä menee helposti 3-10 minuuttia.

Tarkat kartat, mutta miksi ihmeessä pitää koko kartta ladata uudelleen pienenkin zoomauksen/siirron jälkeen? Datan lataus kestää myös turhan kauan jopa 150/50Mbit/s nopeuteen käytännössä kykenevässä LTE 4G verkossa, puhumattakaan kuidussa kiinni olevasta langattomasta lähiverkosta. Lisäyksenä edelliseen: lataaminen kestää iäisyyden.

startup time is far too slow, and even more delayed by slow redrawing. zoom in and out stutters now and then. Otherwise very good and promising. I did though notice something with the animation step lengh drop down menu which might be a bug (not sure yet...:)

Sometimes seems to download something in the background wayyyyy too long. Also zooming the map can sometimes be laggy. These faults remove that one star.

Principle of this app is very good, projected forecast is excellent and accurate, but the functionality is just adequate. It is good, if used in conjunction with one of the better rain alarm apps.

The idea is good, implementation not so much. The lightning map remains empty, no matter how large a lightning storm is actually in the area. The submenus for satellite, radar and observations are triggered by either hitting an incredibly small "tab" that appears for a very short while (frustratingly difficult) or by long pressing the menu item. The map sometimes randomly shows the wrong dataset. The app would also be a lot more usable if it followed the Android UI guidelines. This is disappointing, since the FMI Weather app from the same company is actually really good.

Low detail forecasts, animation loads several times before playing only half of the frames, in interval of 15 minutes not even displaying the info. Could be so much better... If you would like to see an example of how it could be, check Buienalarm (Dutch app)
