Clover Memo LITE(notes/paint) for Android
I love to download pics to color and then add the image. I know it's mandatory for me to have this app on my phone for over a year now. That's what's up
Throwback UI. Extreme lag on my modern device.
Perfect if you understand all settings, there is lot of options n settings. Thanks :)
This app has potential; however, its complexity and lack of good educational material to support it as an art medium makes it unusable. There are so many other good user-friendly apps, that this is not worth the hours & hours of trial & error education time and frustration. I have tried very hard to like & enjoy this app for drawing and art, because I love creating digital art; this app failed me as a doodler, sketcher, note taker and artist. What other apps do in 2 easy steps, this app takes you 6 steps to do. I hope some day the developers improve it by simplifying it, providing good video instructions, and FAQ or other resources for us simple, digital art loving people.
Not bad for free. Paid version is worth the price. This free one is good to test compatibility with your device
I drew anime with the app
It just closes right after I tap it!!!!!
I like it a lot. The user interface is very unique and after some time spent with the app I really appreciated it's accessibility and comprehensive feature set. Calibration for a pen is a real bonus not present in any other app. Unlimited canvas is also very unique on android, only MyPaint on Nokia N900 can do it. I purchased full Cover Paint but refunded it as free transform tool did not work in XY plane only pseudo 3d with unpredictable results. I wish easier access for a new layer creation
Never mind the name "Memo". This app has no text handling features. The UI is a throwback to Palm OS; no space is wasted.

Tried this app with SSGN 10.1 2014, there're many lags especially when I used function "oil" and freezes sometimes. UI is unfriendly.
It just closes right after I tap it!!!!!
This is really stupid as .there r tooo many options.
Probably the best free hand drawing program for Android. The UI is on the ugly side, but not hard to learn, and there is a great deal of features. Stable and fast.
I am using a regular stylus (not pressure sensitive) and there is at least a 1/4 inch gap between the stylus and where to line begins to draw. I have turned off pressure sensitivity in the settings and it still does this. Can anyone tell me what might be the problem?
I was pleasantly surprised by what this app can do after reading through the tutorial. Its got quite a few features that even Autodesk or Layerpaint doesn't have, but I recommend taking a day or two to really get into what this app can do. One minor issue I have is importing a picture from my device's gallery/photo album, it simply refuses to open. Is this a feature only for paying customers?

Tis trippy how this made an old hippie smile. Will be happy if UI's deemed crappy cuz it sucks.
Hey man, it's a cool app. The UI is a nightmare but you've done well with your code and engines. Seems like the first mobile app to deliver an experience like Manga Studio. I think with a few more tweaks this could be one of the best mobile art apps. I haven't tried to full version yet. Things I wished. I wished there was a regular round paint brush for painting like one would in photo shop. The app needs more options for pencils to deliver a good sketching experience as well. ui needs overhaul
As just a trial of clover paint there isn't access to all the features but there is still a lot to try on it. Anyone starting with this app will get a little intimidated by the interface, but after some playing around and several tutorials it becomes easier to use. Even on this version the size of the canvas and undo redo is only limited by the device (unlike apps such as SketchBook Express which are limited). A great app, convincing me to buy the full version.

nice way the UI works: use one finger to paint, use 2 fingers to zoom/pan/rotate, so you can actually do something half decent with your finger. Strangely, it sort of half works in landscape orientation, but not entirely.
Power user's dream
realy wonderful app in a small 360 kB
The payware just might be the best drawing app on android

I said before that this app needs an easier ui option & would get more sales if it happened. Yes it's a good app, but now there's an mass upset of buyers, who bought the pro version of this app. Now the latest update to the app a new ui SUPRISE!, but this is the "Slap Across The Face!.", to be able to use the ui after january you HAVE! to pay 2000 yen!. They DEMAND! an extra 3 to 4 times the cost of the app on top of what the app's going to cost you to buy, and just to use this feature. Check out the pro version page & comment's!... :( *** NEW UPDATE FROM DEVELOPERS! *** ... FAREAST Inc. 27 January 2014-By the way, why do you not write in the review section of the Clover Paint? ---- Well, you are using Clover Paint less than 15 minutes, And you have never used new UI. I see it all now. Clover Paint is not the tool which you can be an expert of in 15 minutes... *** it's sad when a developer tries anything to draw attention away from an app with a bad ui, 1st a bogus PERFECT! review for the pro version of the app, everyones complaining about, and attack their customers!, all because they want to EXTRACT EXTRA MONEY! From their customers, AND NOT! Repair a BOTCHED! job...
I love it! but sometimes I have trouble working with things but I guess it's just something I need to get used to! I'm just a little confused... when you enter your previous drawing... is it suppose to have the outside shaded? kind of annoys me also the clear button doesn't seem to 'clear' the canvas... I would give 5 stars if these were fixed. thank you
You're an art or computer wiz. I have never found an app so hard to use. I'm uninstalling right now. So be careful.
Wonderfull
All the power in the world means nothing if you can't use it properly. That's what I feel about this app. It has great potential, but the UI is awful and unintuitive.
My review is on the paid app page. PS If you're having trouble with the pen cursor offset, slide from the 'Gallery' icon to the 'Options' icon and change the "pen pointer" option there. You can configure many other settings there too. Also, the developer is very responsive and proactive!
It was so good thatI upgraded to the full version. Very sophisticated for a free app! I upgraded to support further development!
