Volume Lock

Honestly, I don't understand why I need an app to lock my volume. It should be a basic setting on my phone. Srsly! But this is wonderful. It locks the volume across the board. I would wish for one tweak tho.. If I could lock or unlock volumes individually, that'd be awesome. But as it stands, I won't accidentally drop the ringer tone down and won't miss the mom calls. She hates that, lol.

Simple, but a little TOO simple.... Some fine tuning settings would be nice. For example, I absolutely hate icons on my status bar. If I could remove the silly little "lock icon" from my status bar, I'd bump up the rating. Other than that, it does what it says. I'm still investigating the app, checking permission usage, battery usage, "attached spyware", etc.

Exactly what i needed. Goddamn samsung and android are too "concerned" for my ears. I am an adult, my car doesnt stop to avoid me driving it, i think i can decide if im damaging my own ear drums, thanks.

I'm so sick of my Samsung Galaxy turning its own volume down all the time. I'm hard of hearing so I need it UP. I don't need a nanny. This application is perfect. It's simple, easy to use, and gets the job done.

Changed my review to 1 star because it had internet access. I removed this permission from it's manifest and it works just fine. I'm sick of developers abusing permissions!

App is okay...but very annoying black pop-up box at bottom of screen blocks my keyboard and other things, just to tell me my volume is locked, which I already know because of the icon in the notification bar! Fix this and add some independent options to choose which volume we want to control and I'll up my rating to 5 stars.

Can you please make the option lock or unlock mode phone, i only use this app in screen lock mode. Bcoz Android Nougat version has a security problem, when my phone is screen locked, the volume button also work, anybody can Silent or Mute my device without my permission. There was no option for this issue to make my phone secure from thief's. I'm using "moto G5 plus" (Android Nougat Version 7.0)

Another app that will not allow me to keep my volume at vibrate. Literally "volume lock" only. Ffs, all I need is the volume off but to still know when I get calls.

Hv installed this on both our phones as the only one that works where the phone is turned off and on..

No one can now low my volume down and remove my phone from charger or with charger while android alarm system is active or for inward call - But a smart culprit can learn quickly from the the trick.

This is a great app for the Droid. Volume button is too easily bumped and shuts down my volume.

Doesn't work. My phone still turns it's own volume down while I'm watching YouTube.

I only want to lock ringer volume, not media or alarm. Not useful.

Dont trust this app. It has internet permission and Google cloud messaging (GCM). What kind of data are you pushing and fetching from our devices? Remove the internet permission this app does not need it, (but the developer does for whatever reason) 1 star stays as long as the permission is not removed.

Excellent! Works perfectly for me. Option for no notifications would be useful, but ☆☆☆☆☆ nevertheless.

Works sometimes, ringer still turns itself off......uuughh.

It works but if you turn phone off you have to restart app.

Good start, further development required. No options whatsoever? Independent volume controls would be nice and start at boot

Too early to say for sure, but so far seems excellent. No setup required, just works !

Does exactly what I need. Hardware issue causes my volume to jump around when wearing headphones: if I turn the lock on the volume immediately goes back to the previous level. Simple and effective.

I can adjust the volume, but as soon as I take my finger off the volume button, it goes back to the locked level. I'll have to see how it works in the gym. I accidentally push it to full volume sometimes and my phone/headphone combo is painfully loud.

I like how simple it is. But should have volume control as well like for android 5.0+

This is a simple app with one purpose. When it works, it's useful. But I am awakened in the night because even while locked, the phone turns down the volume while I'm running a white noise app with headphones to help me sleep.

This app is awesome it's simple I'm so sick of over complicating apps I hope u make Basic mp3 player as well or can recommend one
