Solar and Moon Calculator for Android
Simple and clear, like the civil times and mth views
The moon rise azimuth was way off...by 70 degrees...and worse, it was not symmetrical with the moon set's azimuth...so how can one trust it?
Yup. Does exactly what I need. Field photographers often need to know accurate sunrise/sunset AND moonrise/moonset times along with the azimuth. Cool.
Works perfectly every time
Sexagesimal locations can't be read with recent updates. I use this for a convenient lat/lon converter as I'm often checking sunrise and moonrise too.
Battery killer
It took me a few minutes to figure out but definitely worth it.
There better app its a waste of time
Stumbled across this when trying to find out my moon sign. Interesting if you know what half of it means! Perhaps more user friendly? I'm interested!
Awesome! Adding julian-> gregorian would be even better!
The ui is pretty coarse (had to use Virtual Trackball to get past welcome screen), but it hits the geek market squarely. Very thorough!
Julian date is in millions? Local sunrise in U.S. is 16:23? Good effort but not usable.
Would not pickup my location. Uninstalled
Please move to sd card. Thanks.
Amazing widget from a great developer! Thank you again
this app makes the sound of awesome~. And to some tards who gave one star: of course you get wrong time if you don't *set your timezone correctly*.
Fun app but a lot of the information is defiantly wrong and a lot of it is hard to understand if you don't already know what it means
Pse add glossary 4common people. How 2know when d sun is moving along d equator d whole day? which info refering it?Great calc though, thx!
It would be perfect if it had european date and time format (dd/mm/yyyy and 24h) and gps coordinate format (DD MM.MMM)
I love this app! I'm a freak about this info and this app puts it right at my fingertips. Also love that the fonts and colors can be customized.
Best app if ur the type of person who really needs to know details such as this!
Be careful about setting your local timezone, should have been computed based on your location.
Love the app but the text size always changes. Please fix for 5 stars
This app takes awhile getting used to; so be patient before rejecting it as inaccurate and useless or junk to that matter.True, the user interface needs some improvement and the help section has some obvious spelling errors but the calculator engine itself is sound and makes up more than that.
Can't understand the low ratings. EDIT: still works superbly with the latest update of Nov 13. Thanks Dev. :)

Initially I had a problem with the keypad on my S4, and a minor problem on my Acer Iconia A500. But when I emailed Steve he was quick to send me an update! An option to enter Lat and Long in minutes of arc to two decimals would earn 5 stars from me as that is standard nautical format.
Brilliant app uses very little memory. All the info you need. Obviously not high graphics in under 1Mb mem. 5* considering small mem footprint.
Would not find GPS. App kept running in background had to force it to stop before uninstalling it.
This gives all the info I need & then some!
Used every day at a rescue helicopter base.
It works.. I like it.
Only attempts to get location from network not GPS. Even when you pick gps. Massive battery user.
Nice app, but latest update messed up font sizes and some items do not fit in the text boxes, especially the longitude. Changed font size is forgotten
Samsung Galaxy Tab. Cannot even start the app. OK button lost behind, 'If you find bugs' txt. Brilliant.
Does not work on Droid2. Force closes.
Cool really in depth app but needs pictures and more explanations. Most of us aren't astronomers!
It doesn't get past the startup screen on behold ii
Lots of details. Useful

Still a great app!
