Rouvy for Android
I had the same problem with my Wahoo kickr until I updated the firmware on my kickr you have to download Wahoo app to do it now R ouvy can see my kickr snap. Hope this helps.
Latest version of app tries to handle the Android intents for a whole bunch of different things it has zero need to... get the basics right please!
Fairly happy with the app using a Hammer trainer. Needs 1) larger fonts for training numbers 2) Training numbers displayed for lap/interval and 3) ChromeCast support (make that #1).
New app doesn't work with kickr
New version will not connect to sensors...
The previous app worked. This one does not. Can't calibrate either.
Doesn't connect to wahoo kickr
Using Speed, Cadence, and heart sensors and still says I don't have enough sensors to start.
This new version does not BLOODY work. No matter which sensors on my Phantom 5 (ant+ or bluetooth) it does not adjust power, keep track of cadence. This version is horrible. How can you release something like this to the public? Seriously!!!
Ever since this app got changed to rouvy...my expensive smart trainer has become pratically useless. Doesn't sync with trainer and sensors. Wish i never got that trainer to be free from Rouvy...
Yeah this pc version doesn't work...i have a speed sensor, cadance sensor, and heart rate monitor with a simple trainer (no trainer sensors).....& using pc software version..i should not have to select a "trainer" but when I do, no matter what trainer I set in the app, it won't take...not even the virtual trainer...that is issue #1.....next issue, # 2, all my sensors are connected but can't workout using the app because I am repeatedly prompted to select a trainer...silly..there needs to be a selection that reads the connected bike sensors and hr monitor without having to select a "trainer."
Used to use an older version of this app that worked fine. It no longer keeps connected to a tacx flow disconnects after a mile or 2. I've tried a few different devices and all the same. The trainer works fine with other apps so that isn't the problem. It is an excellent app when it works though
Perfect for my use. Interactive video on my phone (Samsung Galaxy A7 Ant+ support) and easy to setup and connect to my Tacx Smart trainer TDF edition. Hassle free. Highly recommended!
REQUIRES login, even just to do firmware updates. Really?! Firmware update tool *does* work well so long as you have NOT manually paired with the trainer. Have not (and won't) use(d) any other functionality. Updated firmware and deleted app.
It needs time, but as soon as you get it working it works like charm. Love the challenges and sufferfests. Premium tracks are amazing. Love it
Only needed to use it to update my Powertap P1 pedals. Keeps crashing.
I bought a $3000 bike AND I have to pay $60 dollars per year to use it? No thanks. Returned bike
Finally an Apps for Android!
Amazing app for indoor training...
Useless app, completely unintuitive. Couldn't upgrade firmware , calibration is hidden. Avoid.
Cannot connect to tacx bushido all paid for and no connection
Love it
"Pause" screen pops up during activities and won't close. Could you please put a "resume workout" option on that window???!
The one thing it needs to do, calibrate the Magnus it fails at miserably. Not even close to ready for smart trainers
Fix the calibration issue with the Magnus trainer and I might give it more than 1 star
Tried to use it with the Magnus. Refuses to connect to it.
On my LG G4 the app works fine. It detects all 3 of my devices via bluetooth. (wahoo kickr, wahoo tickr and wahoo cadence). If i want to want to use my lenovo laptop so the videos are bigger i have to purchase an ANT+ dongle from somewhere or a special bluetooth dongle from cycleops. I feel the program should be updated to use the windows / laptop bluetooth so additional items do not have to be purchased.
The premium subscribe is active but cannot load video. 3 stars for that. Uninstalled
This virtual trainer works well however, I cannot connect my Bluetooth Wahoo ticker heart rate monitor. I have a Wahoo Bluetooth speed and cadence sensor and that works fine. I know the hrm works as connects to other apps but not this one. This app will keep me occupied whilst training in my shed over the winter and would really like to have all functions working. Other than that I think it's a good training app
This could be a good training app but isnt. Videos lag, issues with connectivity with my Tacx neo and premium subscriptions for what? Zwift offers you much more with no issues.
I have a giant cyclotron auto. I use bluetooth sensors ( cadence, speed and heart rate ) it picks up cadence sensor as speed which then reads 30 mph and I'm not even pedalling. Frustrated when I try to get any kind of virtual road it goes black. I can only get OS map view. I have superfamily broadband so it shouldn't be a problem. I also use a samsung galaxy tab A. Not happy.
It's an excellent app but could be improved by adding support for more trainers. Please consider adding access to the simulator trainer on app as well. Thanks
Brand new Magnus won't calibrate on this stupid app. Sensor screen shows speed, calibration test shows nothing. Boo.
I liked the app enough to post this review. The idea of a career and tracking your progress is nice. The "challenges" are fantastic to get motivated, especially for someone trying to get back to cycling after a break of 3 years. CVT offers tremendous value for money, especially when you compare it to the other offerings. The only problem I've had of late is the tendency for ant+ to suddenly stop working anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes into training. Fantastic if that gets fixed!
I was searching for a good app to use in conjunction with a wahoo kickr + sufferfest videos. If you already have sufferfest videos and don't want to pay to stream what you already own just to get trainer control this is a great value option , plus you can plan routes and ride them indoors and there's many more videos to ride all included for alot less than many of its competitors.
Later edit: "It works, but not with the initial tablet it worked on. My equipment works fine on the tab with other apps." °It worked fine during the 14 days of trial, I liked it so I paid the android subscription. Now it detects my trainer but it only receives rpm, no speed or power. Also now it can't detect my the trainer and hr belt at the same time (one on bt one ant+). I repeat, it all worked before, and it works with other apps, just not this one.
Good app... but... when I get so far through a training session it all just stops!! Signed up for the premium version and the same thing happens... got 45mins into a 1 hour session and it all just stops working. It says start peddling or stop ride... I carry on peddling but nothing happens!! Bit disappointed! UPDATE: Thanks for the reply... I use ANT HR monitor, ANT Cadence and ANT Speed sensor with a Cycleops Jetfluid pro
Awful, bought a paid subscription and then cancelled it as only wanted to pay for a single month at a time, When I open the app it says I am subscribed (Still using up the remainder of the month), but it wont let me use any premium rides. I have contacted the support team days ago but heard nothing. Will be contacting Google to get a refund. Be very very careful if you take out the subscription. Shame really, it's a really nice app for training.
Good concept, needs so much work. After subscribing I discover the best routes are for "premium" subscribers only, and I can only subscribe through the website...but no web address is given so I can't upgrade even if I want. I find a route I can do and try to download the video and it says I needs to change the settings to allocate more space for video storage. I go to settings and there is no such setting. I find a ride w/a smaller file and do the training, and with 0.5 miles to go it pauses and tells me to start pedaling to resume...I never stopped pedaling! This is a beta product it should not be in general release. Support is non-existent. I submitted two issues and when I followed the link in the email it said they had been deleted. I cannot recommend paying for a subscription.

Hurry up and return your cycleops and get a Tacx and use their free app. The Tacx app is free for as long as you want with more free features. This app does not even save your settings. Cadence does not work anymore.
