IntelliScreen is the all in one App handling the screen timeout on your Android device!
This app uses the Device Administrator permission.
FEATURES:
• Set individual rules for Apps (e.g. screen always on, app specific timeout ...) similiar to "Screen On" and "KeepScreen"
• Set a position in that the screen will always stay on (via Accelerometer)
• If its dark screen goes out (e.g. if you put your phone into your pocket) (via light sensor)
• Wake up device (the screen automatically turns on when you put your device out of your pocket)
• Screen lock widget (click on it and your screen gets locked) like "screen Off and Lock"

Doesn't work when a game is on. As stated, I need this app to force close the screen no matter what. It does not do that when a game is open.(not playing the game)

Doesn't work with Marshmallow on Nexus 6P and, even worse, I discovered after two days of puzzling over the cause of a red stuck pixel and then receiving a replacement phone from Google that the stuck pixel was actually a software defect caused by Intelliscreen. When I uninstalled this app, the red pixel disappeared. To prove this observation was true, I reinstalled and got the red pixel back and uninstalled a second time to remove it.

This app has been great for a couple of years. Used so the screen timeout didn't occur for specific apps, games mostly. However this feature has stopped working after the most recent download (Android 5.1.1 / Customisation 1288-5765 R3C / Build 23.4.A.0.546) on my Sony Xperia Z3 (D6653).

Samsung Note 3 Kit Kat. Love this app for helping secure my phone because I get distracted SO easily. Will 5 star when I can alter setting from inside other apps i.e. using messaging app and want to leave open longer than original setting this time only.

Was having a lot of problems with note 3 not switching screen off and apps being "pocket launched". Stem would also switch off while using apps and require switching on again. Problem solved and developers should sell to Samsung for a hefty sum.

Works very well for me.. S5. Hesitant because of some of the comments, but has been excellent addition to my phone.
