Equalizer

The preamp (loudness enhancer), equalizer, bass boost and surround sound are the best I've ever found for my Samsung Galaxy J3 phone and Nexus 7 tablet. The earlier problem (which I experienced only on the phone, not the tablet) of losing the settings when switching tracks now seems to be fixed with the Dec. 18 2016 update. The Equalizer app is compatible with Google Play Music, Amazon Music, MX Player and ES File Explorer's music player. I don't know about other players.

The good: It works. The surround is decent, it's stronger than Equalizer FX. Nice UI. Save multiple profiles. Bass boost now works. The bad: Somewhat distorted, but that's the norm for Noroot equalizer apps. Loudness enhancer is not free. Reverb effects don't work. ...I'm a ViPER Audio user on my rooted devices, so it's gonna be very hard to please me enough to buy pro. BUG: Flipping switches sometimes make the sound burst at max volume, even when volume is at one.

Tried almost every equalizer on google play and this app is simply the best IMO for non root devices. Saving presets is kind of awkward though. Oh, reverb settings don't work for my LG V10

I used to use Music Volume EQ, but this worked much better to help reduce some harsh high frequencies I was experiencing in my headphones. The layout is nice also. I bought the pro version

The app is really good but I hope that you fix it. It stops every now and then. I have to open the app and turn it on again, it's annoying. To think that I paid for this because of the nice features but it stops on its own. Pls fix this issue thank you so much.

The app is now unusable because it crashes every time I open it. Uninstalling and reinstalling did not work. Edit: the app has been working wonderfully now

It was awesome. latest update not working on one plus 2 . Crashing when turning on equalizer. [Update]: After reinstall the problem remains. clearing data solved the issue.

After purchasing this application, the equalizer stopped working. No changes using it with SoundCloud or any other applications. The supposed feedback also is unresponsive

Best equalizer app for unrooted devices I've found. The only issue I had was the volume raising to max and almost blowing my headphones when flipping toggles. Keep up the good work!

Does the job, and perfectly! The sound of my new phone sounded as if it was trapped in a tin can, but now with this app and a few settings it sounds perfectly clear and loud! Thanks to the dev!

Unlike most other equalizer apps I've found, this one actually increases the volume of the frequency you choose to increase instead of merely turning down the other frequencies. This obviously will cause some distortion if maxed out. The virtualization and bass boost work well, although I wish the app didn't take up nearly 100 MB of RAM when active. It also will occasionally max out the system volume when activated, which is an extremely startling and unpleasant glitch.

The app overall is great, and it fulfills all my needs, but the surround sound makes the sound distorted. I would like to see it fixed soon!

On my LG-V20. As an audiophile, I find it ironic that I am downloading an equalizer; I avoid them like the plague. But the V20 has an oddly over pronounced high end (I've played it through headphones, IEM's, home Hi-Fi, and car stereo...all sounded harsh). So I got this app just to cut those highs and mid-highs by a decibel or two. The harshness has disappeared. And my Grados and Ultimate Ears sound absolutely beautiful. The highs sizzle and whisper to my ears. Thanks for the app. My phone audio experience is now perfect.

The best EQ for android. Compatible with Spotify and sounds amazing if tuned right. -1 star for battery drain if not force closed.

The audio drivers are not all that good on the Robin, but this has at least made it 200% better than the in system audio software. Keep up the good work!!!

The sliders for the bass boost and the surround sound effects do not move even after purchase of the pro version. Useless! Uninstalling the app

As they said, I cleared the app data and it hasn't crashed yet. Try it!

Despite the limitations android has on equalizers, this app is one of few to deliver a user friendly experience. Although this is the pop in affect when you pause, it will give that "boost" in sound quality.

Does well with the bass boost... I was wondering if you could make an option to disable it's app drawer icon , since it can be launched straight from the play music app and other music player apps

:/ I pay for this now and my speakers sound did not enchanted or got higher. By the way I'm using Obi SJ1.5 (OS5.1.1) which have a normal budget phone speakers. I'm going to try this on my car Bluetooth. Its have mostly a low sound for the most of my music. I will update this review after experimenting more with the app.

Drains about 30% to 60% of my battery daily, clearing cache, removing app data or reinstalling didn't work...

Great app but latley it keeps crashing on my lg g4c android 6 un rooted.that was a problem but i got a quick response that helped 11/10

It's good, good equaliser but has lots of bugs, you have to restart it once and again, fails when changing songs, fails when turning on and of 2 or 3 times

Love this app and I even purchased PRO, one suggestions and I would to have this feature, having an equaliser on/off toggle in the quick settings in Android Nougat

Not correct working reverb and not have wediget. But it is best for online listen music.

In rare occasions it crashes, but does exactly what is supposed to be doing and totally and undoubtably deserves the 5 stars.

I have studio quality headphones that need to be amplified to hear audio clearly. This app does the job and it does it pretty good.
