Map of UK for Android
Am I missing something here? Can't seem to see Cornwall, as part of download maps, Devon, Somerset, Dorset etc, seem to be there, I take it no one comes here so no need? Please correct me if I've missed it, or can't see it apart from that, hence 3 star, seems OK, for now
Initial impressions were good, but where is the Isle of Wight? I downloaded the Hampshire map expecting it to be there, but no? As a resident of the Island you could say this is important to me!
Latest update. Five star review changed to two star. Very disappointed.
What I want to see before going Pro is the developers addressing some of the points made in the reviews. At the moment too stand off on some points, like full address searching and some valid UX points. Up your game on this front please.
Used offline for a long walk today . Spot on and saved us getting lost
Not worthy of any stars to be honest the app is crap
I must say what a load of bollox I am a real person this app is full of fake 5 star rating i am reallly amazed it made me download all this extra stuff and all i had in the end was a map of london i mean who give rats ass about london the rest of the uk was blank just the shape of the island its all blank no colour plain white no stripes no roads nothing plain blank lol seriously dont waste your time they just robbed me of data basically hope the real info i provides helps Look for another people
It might take a minute or so to find your exact location, but works great even off line
Brilliant app, had no signal so couldn't use Google maps to navigate, this app saved the day.
Cannot enter some Street names
Easy to use, works off line, shows many footpaths, great for walking and cross country.
So convenient to have regional map access on my phone.
Simple to use and download. Very accurate mapping. Cannot fault.
Easy to use clear maps with local areas and country wide navigation

Looks good
Great app
We are traveling here without a data plan on our mobile. This is just great, allows multiple destinations, shows your speed & posted speed, what Lane to be in, distance to next turn. It is occasionally a little lagging in your location but since I am navigating and not driving I can compensate. It is amazingly accurate. Took a lot of the stress off since Google maps offline would suddenly revert to beginning which this never did. Recalculated routes when we missed the turn.
Bloated my storage with map data - which is fine if you want all the maps. I just wanted (and still want) on offline map of the U.K. - just like an AA/Collins road atlas, except on a tablet. I don't want all the fancy crap which is too good for its own ability and hardly works. Can someone please develop JUST a map of the U.K. with a simple place search.
I feel sorry for Alice. She must have selected the maps she downloaded and had the choice of including Scotland. I find it useful especially when I'm looking at a town or city I've never been to before. It's a shame it can't be purchased for a single amount to be advert free. KC.
Please do add Northumberland as a region to download. Or North East of England. Only option to get that area now is to download all of England. I downloaded it to have an offline map in the Scottish Highlands where there is no or little phone signal, it should be great for that.
This looks like it could be excellent... once I get used to it. It IS free so expecting paid for ease of use is daft! I like it... doesn't take long to get destinations set up...
I wanted to find somewhere in Edinburgh so downloaded app as it said it was Britain then it asked what country i wanted, end of day I deleted it way too complicated and used a whopping amount of data
I found the app was great for when I was visiting an area new to me as it shows loads of places of interest, pubs, restaurants, fuel, attractions etc. The UI isn't the most intuitive but it's not hard to work out. One thing that really spoils it for me is the lack of a postcode search option which I'd consider essential in many situations.
Bit tiresome to use at first.used few times gets better Would give a 5 if it had postcode search..
On Samsung tablet Android 5.0.2 the Menu button doesn't work. Doesn't rise up like it should. So can't stop navigation, show where you are or alter screen options etc. Makes it almost unusable. Fine on samsung phone tho.
Very useful supplementary information when walking in the countryside, especially when you lose the path and need to get back on track.
Y recomand this is free GPS on your phone work very OK if you don't have your a virus in your phone
I liked it. Small in size. Just as needed. I would have given it 5 stars if it was easier in search for addresses. For example just by entering the postcode not full address.
Used it on a recent walk. Worked well when I had no landmarks. Found the path I was looking for.

I love Mapedy (map of UK), best offline map, vector, rendering, screen, SCALE SHOWN!! - all brilliant! Suggestion - can you conceal notification bar and system control buttons, to make truly full screen?? Drag from side to reveal. See Locus Map. I have one problem - Nexus 5 phone all fine but on my Onda tablet, the bottom menu button doesn't work. Function button, nav mode and zooms all OK fine. So I can't access screen display and rendering options - great pity. Fine on previous version which had screen option button at top. Bring this button back, or add option in main settings? Suggest you also prompt download folder options (SD1) BEFORE downloads, rather than after, perhaps with some help. Do you do Denmark DK (between DE and SE)?
