How do I use maps on my SD Card?
Go to General settings->Data storage folder and choose a folder on extSdCard.
Starting Android version 4.4.x Android has changed the rules so that no application can write to the external SD card anywhere outside its new standard folder Android/data/[PACKAGE-NAME].
So you can only place the data in the standard SD folder: (extSdCard)/Android/data/eu.mapof.canada

Perfect for navigating between cities. Won't show most street house numbers and sometimes chooses weird routes. Other than that a perfect tool for tourists who need an offline map.

I heard about this new "GPS" technology so I thought I would try it. It looks very nice but it was just too complicated for this old bean. Back in my day maps used to do one thing be made out of paper. But now you got the fancy graphic do-dabs and the lady that talks to you, my how times have changed. They always make the lady sound too hot as well and then my wife says that I'll listen to the "lady in the box' but not to her. Women am I right? She's just jealous because I don't find her attractive any more

I live in Manitoba and was forced to download more than 600mb for the Ontario maps before anything else. Maybe provide a dialog box that allows you to choose your region beforehand.

This is a nice app so far. I've only used it a short time but it's quick and responsive. It's quite accurate from what I can see locally. Once I get a chance to travel away from my city I'll know more.

The first two addresses I've entered aren't found. The street I live on apparently doesn't intersect with the street on my corner. Map detail is good, lots of points of interest.

I like some of the info and details that it displays. I have problems with the map. The map on my tablet looks different from the samples. Dark purple and dark green , not easy to look at. The other thing is the fonts used, the main roads have a easy to read font but all the other streets have a white font that overlaps and is almost impossible to read even at maximum magnification. The other problem is that I haven't been able to plot a route. It comes up with calculated route is empty.
