Freezer Manager

Simple and straight forward, which I like. A couple of suggestions. First, it would be nice to be able to enter fractional number ( .5 ) for partial bags, etc. A unit of measure would be helpful as well. That being said, I will stick with this app for it's simplicity.

I really want to love this app. I took the time to enter everything in my freezer and that was straightforward enough. Since then the app continually gives me error messages and will not update when I add or subtract an item from the freezer which pretty much defeats the purpose to begin with. I have tried a few similar apps and this one had the best potential by far. I just need to find a way to keep it from crashing.

This app is fine for a single freezer or when you know generally what is in each freezer when multiples are present. Items needing some work: 1. There is no way to address multiple compartments in a chest freezer. 2. There is no way to list all items in a single category. 3. There is no way to search all freezers for a particular item, then see its location. The sharing feature works great, and for a single freezer it should be fine.

I was excited to find an app that did exactly what I wanted, but it got stuck on a loading screen forever. A shame.

Yes, you have to enter everything manually but because I tend to restock the same items this is not burdensome. In other words once you put green beans in the app you just keep updating the number. You also have the option of adding additional freezers - I added one to use for my pantry items so that I can track that inventory as well. It would be very helpful to have an additional field to put notes in. And the perfect app would allow you to scan barcodes to add the items.

Would have given it 5 stars if there was some way to change the date format. Day-Month-Year or Year-Month-Day are both acceptable but we appear to be stuck with Month-Day-Year.

Enough for my use but more could be useful, such as storage location, picture, calendar of expiry date. By the way, implementation of labels, several per items, could be a nice improvement.

it's a great idea but the app still lacks 'ease of use'. I could add 2 different freezers but I couldn't just see what was in 1 vs the other, or how to move items from one to the next. the layout still needs refinement.

Installed this today, then uninstalled as it wouldn't work without access to my contacts list. Sorry, but I'm not sharing my friends' data just to keep track of what's in my freezer!

Due to the lack of such apps, this one is probably the best. It works fine and is very simple, which is good. It doesn't work that well for freezers with drawers, though. There's just no option to lable things with location, and it would be useful to know in what drawer the stuff is, wouldn't it? Also, I would be willing to pay a reasonable amount of money to get rid of the adverts. Why don't you implement an option to do that? And last, the possibility to share data with others is, in this case, invaluable!

This is by far the best and most flexible freezer app I've tested, but the ads are horribly distracting and mess up the screen to the point it makes the app actually hard to use. Been testing it and the flashing crap ads ruin the usability. I would gladly pay for a pro version without ads but this doesn't seem to be available. Very sad as the ads will stop me from being able to use the app. Oh - and also really hate the fact that it still needs to sign in with a Google account.

The person that wrote this app has got their head screwed on tight. I have not found one thing about this app that I do not like. I would give it 7 stars if I could. Oh, yes I just thought of one thing I do not like. After I look at a category it goes back to the default (all) , but I can live with it.

The ability to have multiple freezers was added. Yea! Unfortunately, ads were added and no opportunity to turn them off. Really obnoxious ads, too.

Wouldn't gladly pay for Pro version. Please add this option. Fantastic app

Can the information be shared with another email address?

Just downloaded today. Not interested if I have to sign into Google plus before I can use it. And apparently, you can't do anything until you've signed in????

Uninstalled and reinstalled latest version. Now working again. Thank you for your help and support for this very useful app!

Really like this app, but since latest update all my contents have gone. Have deleted and reinstalled twice, but still no luck. UPDATE - Problem has been sorted out very quickly, thanks. Excellent support.

Really? It wants me to sign in & to know my age group AND my circle of friends?? Just so I can try out the app?? Ridiculous. Gone.

Pictures would be nice; better/more details and search filters (date, quantity,...) I wouldn't mind paying for a more complete Pro version w/o ads

v1.2.1 crashed on my tablet. v1.2.3 works great again! This is on an Asus tablet with jellybean.

Fix this and I will give you a 6. It is now at least a 6. Some of these types of Apps try to do too much. This is exactly what I needed. Good Job.

This app originally worked great! The v1.2.1 update requested to use a g+ account. Now it immediately crashes. This is on an Asus tablet with jellybean.

Use to work now it crashes after asking me to log in using G+?

Does not sync, cannot share, cannot add categories, not working.

Can't add freezer?

Constant message that the app has stopped working.

No more digging to the bottom of our chest freezer to discover we are out of something.

Unfortunately Freezer Manager has stopped working. That message comes up every time I connect my phone. Great idea....needs a few bugs worked out.

You can only use it if you sign in with your Google plus account and it wants access to your information there. That has nothing whatsoever to do with managing your freezer contents and I don't need the app that badly. Uninstalled it.

Cannot add categories, cannot set units. Cannot sort on date. Nice idea but totally incomplete app.

I'd like to order by category. The quantity roller should be the same for enter. Stay in category editing until manual exit. Printing option (or store database in Dropbox, Keep, etc.). How to add/edit Freezers? +/- roller causes screen to scroll?

can't find how to delete items from inventory. delete query appeared once but unsure how it happened. command menu?

I tested this app out on my S4 and it is simple to use, however there are issues with categories feature. I added one and it was not available in the category drop down list when I tried adding a new item. I had to remove and then re-add the category before it appeared in the category drop down list. After that I tried adding another category but instead of creating a new category, it duplicated the previous category. I tried it a couple of times and it kept doing the same thing.

Perfect just whst I was looking for. This enabkes me to keep track of where everything is in my rammed freezer. One suggestion could you add a search featute?

I thought it would let me add freezers like kitchen, basement, and garage. There doesn't seem to be any way to add a freezer though. The only option is default.
