AutoTether for Automatica

Doesn't turn on mobile hotspot when connected to the specified Bluetooth device. All it does is turn off your phones wifi antenna. Then when the Bluetooth device disconnects it leaves your wifi antenna off. Worthless app. Avoid.

This app was working pretty well before (not perfectly, but worth 4 stars), but ever since my device got the Android 5.0 update, it hasn't. It will disable the WiFi, but fails to turn on the hotspot. It also fails to re-enable the WiFi when the Bluetooth connection is lost.

This app does exactly what its supposed to do, it works perfect! If you are tethering from your phone to a tablet and it want it to automatically tether when in range, you need this to make life easier. I use this with an android pumpkin car stereo and its awesome. Combine this app with wifi-matic app so that once you stop tethering, you will get wifi back. Update 5/27/2015, this doesn't work at all with android 5.1.1 or android 5.0 . developers please fix this.

Samsung S7 Edge with 6.0.1, crashes EVERY TIME. Uninstalled and moving on to anything else.

when the screen is active it turns on the hotspot every time! but if the screen is off, like it will be every time it will be used it does nothing :( if i have to reach for the phone to turn the screen on i may as well hit the tethering widget too right?

It turn's on hotspot 100% of the time when I connect a BT device. 50% of the time when I disconnect, it will not re-enable the wifi and I must manually enable wifi. Also, I have selected multiple BT devices and if I have more than one device connected at the same time, tethering is disabled when I disconnect only one of them. It should remain in hotspot mode until ALL of the selected devices are disconnected, not just one. It should only disable hotspot when there are NO selected devices connected to my phone. Please fix those.

I've been trying to find some easy app .... to get tethering active when connected to my car's BT. Nothing easy. Then found this app! So far, so good! 12/16/13. Updated to 4.3 and now the app does not function properly unless on a home screen. Hopefully an updated is pending?????

100% time turns on tethering and only 50% time turn on WiFi back. Please, fix that.

Checked the bluetooth to be used, but when i connect to the bluetooth, no reaction from the app... No instructions... Im guessing it has to do with the hotspot being an app for the phone and not built into the wifi

On my galaxy nexus, when bluetooth is unpaired, it turns off tether but doesn't turn wifi back on automatically. Not much issue while on road, but when I get home, I will have to remember to turn wifi back on manually. Would be 5 star if it turns wifi back on after unpairing.

Works Well very handy- keeps my Automatica synced all the time.
