Shuts down due too old version, but it has no newer version

When trying to run it immediately shuts down. Jan 2015. Looks like developer has time - bombed this version but not released planned new version. Un installed.

Usefull app

No need to be a "classical geologist" anymore..VERY SIMPLE & CAN SAVE DATA WE TOOK..

Compass measurement is jumpy with 180 degree difference. Look like the program reads normal or overtuned phone position. I cannot use this program.

App is fast; real time view of strike/dip is great; impressive that it can record dip information in any orientation. Compass measurement is jittery (it is a phone of course); I second the request below to smooth it through some averaging. Would give this app 4 stars but for the registration requirement to unlock some features. Not clear who/what is being registered or why - I'm not going to do that until I know more, so I probably won't use this app and will stick with Rocklogger, which is very similar.

Usefull to those whom doest have magnectic sensor on the phone.

Very usefull application

This is precariously close to being really useful (on my Wildfire S, Android 2.3, anyway), but needs some work. Firstly, the compass bearing is far, far too jittery. The app needs to do some post-processing on this to smooth out the reading, otherwise it changes too fast to be easily read. Secondly, it needs the option of measuring strike instead of dip-direction. Otherwise, there's the risk of a mis-interpretation. Lastly, this needs the option of being installed to SD card, rather than internal mem.

Is as accurate as my phone, based on comparing with other directional apps. Customer service gets an A++!

Great for dip/dip direction measurements. Pretty accurate on my Moto Droid. Would be nice if the app would autoconvert measurements to strike/dip.

The dip angle seems to be accurate within a few degrees. The dip direction is totally off. Always gives a North East direction with incorrect degree.

This looks like it will be great for hasty measurements in the field. just waiting for my activation code.
