BikePrints

BikePrints mob app designed for collecting data from EU citizens on Physical Activity and Social Networks for the Social Biking project (S-b). The Joint Research Centre is setting up the project "Social-Biking"(S-b) which aims to motivate European citizens to move more and use more environmentally sustainable means of transport. Within the S-b framework, JRC will compare different incentive schemes on cycling activities of people. The S-b is an internet based project which will be exclusively coordinated and conducted through the BikePrints mobile application which allows users to track their movement and more importantly to see other friends' shared movements. Participants will be receiving social based incentives, i.e. a biker will receive points if s/he bikes on the same path with other S-bikers. During the project S-bikers will receive different rewards (sport/bike equipment) based on their physical activity performance and on their social performance.
