Daikin Online Controller

After the update it doesn't work. No consumption history, difficulty on accessing out of home function. Why the previous version was updated...? I cannot understand.

Used to work perfect before. Upgrades subsequent 8th august 2017 brings absolutely no improvements but instead adds troubles accessing the unit out of home which requires a random log off and log on where before the upgrades worked flawlessly. Please fix.

The out of home is no longer working? Now I cannot control my ac's from my pfone, why I bought those adapters DIkin?

Expected much more. It doesn't work after last update. Please solve your software's problem.

At least it works. But i still can't use all of the function of my a/c. Why on the demo evrything works perfectly but on real evrything is just one big lie

Fucking useless after update

Destroyed my check to my main computer room !!! Firmware and bullsheets ....if you give updates make it work ..... really! Bring the old one back immediately ....now

After the last update "Out of home" does not work. Please fix it.

Out of home does not work anymore.

It is fundamental to have the Intelligent Eye(on/off) button. Please update with this function! Also why not use the intelligent eye as a motion sensor to inform if there are people in proximity of the motion sensor. Lastly it is not possible with this update to cancel the time schedule all at once. Please insert all this functions!

Works for the basics. Crashes every other time. Constant search for units. Poor functionality. Shows negative outer temperature with dashes, no numbers. This should not be what you offer when you say " we have mobile app".

The available functions work well despite being a bit slow. However some features available in the remote (silent mode, econo mode or powerful mode) are not available. Seems a rather steep price to pay for such basic controls.

- wifi adapter is stupid and only works with WPS on 2,4G... - The app is missing tons of functions. Intelligent eye/comfort - it BADLY needs to detect whenever something has changed in the setting from the old remote controller and notify the app so user is notified and can change it again if needed. Or how else do I find out which setting actually works for which unit currently.. it's a good start but you have a long way to go

Missing functionalities in respect of the infrared remote controller: for example intelligent eye or modifying the temperature of half degree. If I have a functionality I must be able to use it independently of the mean used to control the unit; this is a bug! Need a serious fix also for the general UI: it is so old and not responsiveness. Very disappointed Daikin.

The app is well developed and performs well. However there is a security issue with it. Please search for "daikin unofficial API" to read more. For security reasons I connect to my home network over a VPN tunnel. It is as if I'm in my home network from anywhere on the planet over encrypted channel. In this case the app DOES NOT FIND THE UNIT!!! In order to fix this please implement the following: 1) Allow to manually add unit by specifying IP address (No need to search every time I open the app) 2) For convenience give option to disable automatic search for units on each start. If you add manually the units no need for performing a search. Thanks for giving us such a great app and please make it even better.

Does its job, but crashes with a probability of around 50% when starting the app. The crashes have been around for months and I've tested on several different devices and Android versions. Unacceptable.

If you have a big flat, you are in trouble. I had to deploy three Wi-Fi APs to cover our two floor apartment. It was a true nightmare to get all the AC units assigned to the same account when they were connected to different Wi-Fi APs. I have only partially succeeded. I mean the online account as it is clear that I can see only units connected to a particular AP when accessing them locally. As a bonus, the application itself works on Wi-Fi but refuses to work on mobile data reliably. Last time I had to set up a hot spot on a second phone and connect my phone to it via Wi-Fi to be able connect to the AC units remotely. When I tried to use mobile data directly, having a perfect LTE connection, the application immediately said that it has no data connection. My suspicion is that is does not even try to set up the mobile data connection in such case. I would expect a seamless setup and overall experience. This is Daikin not Haier after all.

Aucune évolution du produit... (les dev s'en foutent royalement ; dixit échange de mails avec eux...). Interface désuète. Pour le prix des modules je suis très déçu. Si vous avez une box domotique, prenez plutot les modules remotec avec une vraie gestion intelligente !

Great app. Very useful at home. "out of home" functions with server errors, doesn't work all the times.

Not enough functionality. Old interface. No regular updates. Expensive air con with poor app.

Keep crashing on start, searching for units, slow, only basic functionality ... Expected more from Daikin, very dissapointed ...

Very good app which can control all ACs magnificently. I would allow the user to be able to add ACs installed in different places connected to different networks to be added to the same account...

It has the basic functions but it lacks many of the controls for the ururu sarara model. Please add them and update the app or create a separate app for that model. Also if you update the app when not at home the ac unit software wouldn't update. Then it wouldn't work. Seriously? This is so amature Daikin Europe. And still the new app doesn't include half of the ururu sarara model features. Disappointed.

Setting up the app was not easy, had issues with finding the unit in the app. Most annoying part: why do you call your app 'Controller '? Please, at least use Daikin in the app name. General usage is good so far.

The app crashes everytime you try to open it, if it is still active. UPDATE: It's a shame, it hasn't been solved after several months!

It's annoying to see the app constantly searching for devices. This search should be optional.

I installed two Ururu Sarara a/cs in my house, the best and most expensive home a/c you guys produce. paid nearly $5K and $140 for the wifi controllers.. I fail to understand why you offer such basic functionality. is it so hard to control low or high fresh air supply? or humid heating? or econo mode? or power consumption? You introduced power consumption and power saving mode in the new app and they are NOT SUPPORTED on FTXZ50N but on LOWER END A/Cs. ARE YOU GUYS SERIOUS??? WASTE OF MONEY!

The app and the HW leave separate life and do not allow easy or better say none configuration and connectivity to my wifi fails at the fnal step. Doing this in cycle for days with steps provided but no success. The concept of Adapter vs Run mode and App were all 3 should communicate also with wifi network is too many communication links were one of them is always failing. Completely new air condition and all this is frustrating.

Not as many functions as on IR remote ("econo", "powerful", etc.). Frequent loss of connection settings with adapter.

Every time I connect with the online servers, the adapter loses connection with the router, making the online function completely unusable!

Works 100% ive got 3 units ... very comfortable.. remote works even out of home
