In der EU sind etwa 320 Zusatzstoffe zugelassen. Kennen Sie alle? Was essen Sie, wenn in der Zutatenliste E 407 steht? Wofür wird Carrageen eigentlich verwendet? Ist der Stoff auch für Bio-Produkte zugelassen?

Kaufen Sie sich kein Buch, welches morgen schon veraltet ist. Diese App bietet Ihnen eine Liste über die zugelassenen Zusatzstoffe und versucht Ihnen den Verwendungszweck zu erklären, so dass Sie selbst entscheiden können, ob Sie lieber ein Produkt ohne diesen Zusatzstoff kaufen wollen.

Alle Daten werden über das Internet geladen. Eine Offline-Nutzung ist in der kostenlosen Variante nicht möglich. Werbefrei und mit Informationen über die Demeter-Zulassung in der Pro-Variante.

Suche nach E-Nummern oder Verkehrsnamen möglich. Leider ist es wieder erlaubt auch einen üblichen Namen in der Zutatenliste zu nutzen, statt der E-Nummer. Zusätzlich muss jedoch der Klassenname mit angegeben sein: Farbstoff, Konservierungsstoff, Antioxydationsmittel, Emulgatoren (Stabilisatoren), Dickungsmittel (Geliermittel), Säurungsmittel (Säureregulatoren), Trennmittel (Überzugsmittel, Tauchmassen), Geschmacksverstärker (einige Aromastoffe), Zuckeraustauschstoffe (künstliche Süßstoffe), Stoffe für sonstige technologische Zwecke, Stoffe für besondere Ernährungszwecke (Vitamine, modifizierte Stärke).
