Now on Nougat and using Flashfire. Feel robbed by people who don't read about an app before they buy it. Then complain that it only does exactly what the developer said it would do. The robbed guy should give it a five because he got exactly what he paid for. How cool to make Mobile Odin this small. So that it will fit on our Samsung phones. I have a Samsung Galaxy S 3 and Mobile Odin works perfectly with it. Well worth the money!

I first bought it for my Note 3, it says it's supported, it's not. I try to open the app, and get device not supported error message. I tried it with my S5, and Note4 same thing. App is a rip off. To late to get a refund conviently enough.

I mod and flash often and you couldn't ask for a more ideal life saver. Two thumbs up to Chainfire. Rock on. For those of you that have had issues, just keep trying. It's never a perfect world.

Great app! You can flash modems to increase data speeds and flash stock firmwares. Ran into as bit of trouble when I deleted my official Samsung touch wiz. So I need to find a way to flash stock back and this helped.

Guess what? None of my devices can even use this. I have an unrootable tab s, and a gs3 schr530x. Why did I buy it then? BECAUSE THE DEVS NEED MORE BEER. Simple. BTW chain, if you can root the stupid AT&T 10.5 Tab S, I'll paypal you like, 50$ and FedEx you some real beer. Swears.

I have the hottest phone out right now Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on T-Mobile and Mobile Odin pro does work won't work.

Didn't work in the past when I had the original Note 10.1 but this came handy today on Note II when I had to revert back from CM12.1 to stock Kit Kat since I prefer the better stock camera, keyboard, functional in-browser video playback, etc. This tool saved me a lot of time from not having to unlock the boot loader after flashing stock firmware. Unfortuntely, root injection doesn't work.

Regardless the high quality and usefulness of this application, we must be aware that the e-mail address is a hoax. If you write you will receive an auto reply, but after one full month waiting I have not received anything else. It seems that we just pay and then get kicked off.

Not bad when an app dev can make over half a million dollars for an app like this. Shame on the dev for still having it on the store when it is not updated. He always complained about wanting donations on xda and now gets all this money so cannot say it is free and to be expected. Still good work in the past so not complaining there. Just does not live up to reputation.

I have a fully rooted, and supported device, but the app can't detect my device. In the amount of time it took me to search XDA for a possible fix, the refund window expired; and after two days, the Dev still hasn't responded to my email for support. Update: After a week, I've yet to receive a response from the Dev and have had to contact Google for a refund ... pretty lame.

Not at all happy. Paid £3.89 for this app and it doesn't work. Wanted to flash my Galaxy S5 SM-G900F from Android 5.0 to Android 6.0 but it just got trapped in a recovery loop. Couldn't read what the problem was but could see something about "........Triangleaway may fix this" and the phone continued to reboot into recovery only to display this message. In the end I put it in download mode and flashed the file with my desktop Odin. going to see if it's too late to get my money refunded before I uninstall.

I'm giving this app 1 star because it can't root my phone (and it's on the list of supported devices) and after I email the devs I haven't received a response in 3 days. I'm hoping this will get their attention, since I already pay them 5 dlls for something that doesn't work.

This was exactly why I was skeptical. Says cannot detect device, not supported, or not rooted. Definitely Rooted, Say's device is support in details, and wouldn't refund??? That's theft as far as I see it. If I receive a email back I will be shocked, and I will change this review. Beware everyone, just because your device says it's compatible, does not mean it really is I guess.

Look! To all the NOOBS.!!!!!!! (nooobs!) out there the app will not root your phone! Odin needs su access to flash which means you need to root the standard way. Then once your rooted you use this app to flash directly off your device! SIMPLE! Having a smart phone doesn't necessarily make anyone smart.

Obviously, it begins to be outdated for latest firmware/devices. Now SuperSu is in its 2.46... What can we do? Wait & see. And take a look at XDA...

When I tried to run it on my rooted device, it said it wont run on my Note 8. Looking for a fix or a refund. No response from developer after two days. Be careful before you buy. Going to complain to Google Playstore.

Completely broke boot for phone and sent it into a loop. Had to reformat and reroot and reinstall operating system. Could not even reinstall backup. Had I actually been able to use my phone in time I would have gotten a refund.

What an awesome app ! From on of the MOST RESPECTED developers ! ! ! This app may or may not support your device. If it does not support, PLEASE do not bash the developer. He is a super busy guy that is doing all he can to support all devices. Just upload the prepared log the program creates and request support. You may feel free to request more than once.

I have a paid version and after installing and opening the app it says 'device not supported (or not detected - check root)!' Meanwhile my device is properly rooted. I have a samsung S4 SPH L720. I do not want to create a dump file cos I was advised I won't be refunded if I have a paid version. What's wrong developer?

Reading the reviews makes it clear that a lot of people who have no business using this app are messing up their phones. If you don't know what this app does, don't use it! Go to xda and learn about what you're doing! As for no updates, if you bothered to be a part of the android scene....you would know that FlashFire is the new version of this app. But I would caution any of you on using it, because if you don't know how to use it, you will brick your phone. 1 star reviewers, go get an iphone!

Over a year and no update. No support for lollipop. When will they make support for lollipop ? After Marshmallow has been released ? What good is that ? I am never buying apps from this fraud again. Even tho Dev is famous for root development he can't be trusted to pay money towards as he abandons projects like this.

For the ones giving this app 1 star because it is not compatible with your device I kindly ask you remove it and don't rate it. The developer works hard to make this app work on every device he can but some devices such as the one I have (Att GS4 i337) are just not able to run this app correctly. This doesn't make the app bad so stop rating so. Thanks for listening to me rant.....now go and remove the 1 star, please.

Could not detect device error on my note 2. I've always used chainfire apps and happy to pay for his usually flawless apps but this is error and trying various fixes to get around it is very frustrating. I'd happily rate higher if I can at least get to the app menu

Newbies, don't play with this app!! If you don't know how to use it properly, completely and with absolute confidence, it WILL brick your phone and it's YOUR fault. No one forced you to use it!!! He doesn't HAVE to do anything for you, so be bleeding grateful. If you're that good then make a better one or shut up! Sick of the level of pathetic self pity. Grow up!

It doesn't root your phone unless it has already been rooted, it needs the permission first. Go to xda-developers site. In there are instructions how to flash your phone. It was very easy. It is cf-auto-root zip file. Follow them simple directions it was a lot easier than I thought. Just make sure you download the correct file. that it all it takes. This app is for reflashing custom roms. I rooted but didn't change anything else. Now I can change whatever I want from wherever I want. No comp needed.

I'm not gay, but I think I'm falling in love with you Chainfire. You made flashing the twrp recovery for my Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 a total breeze! What would take me a very long time using my pc involving a ton of steps, now took a brief few minutes with only a few simple steps. Easy, quick, simple to use, and efficient. Thanks a bunch. I seem to forever be messing with my phones and regularly break things or screw them up. It seems to happen at the worst times too. This app has allowed me to fix things quickly and easily when I would ordinarily need a properly setup PC to do it. Thanks developer!

Followed every guide and instruction. Made backups, and the app failed to operate as said. Thus soft bricking my phone and when I finally fixed it the refund period expired. DON'T BUY AND WASTE YOUR MONEY. DO IT BY COMPUTER NOT APP. WASTE OF MONEY.

Bought the app, tells me my model isn't supported and offers no refund button. Please refund, I have no issues paying for it if it works, but it doesn't.

Fantastic tool for flashing firmware. Made reflashing an S3 to stock a breeze when USB port had failed. Make sure you educate yourself on the pros/cons and pitfalls of flashing by reading the XDA forums before embarking on flashing firmware on your device. It'll help prevent you making mistakes and answer any/all questions you have about customising your phone and is a great resources for both newbies and the more experienced.

Looks like this isn't supported much now. Such a shame as I can remember how ground breaking it was when it was first launched. All the best to the developer though!

Got my brand new note 3a while back and soft bricked it rushing to root (stupid noobie error I know!) I am actually reasonably well experienced at modding and tried everything I could think of and then everything XDA had to offer and I was still holding a soft brick! I tried mobile Odin for my first time ever and it fixed my new baby. Well worth the few quid! (Especially as I earnt them via Google rewards!) Thank you chainfire!
