Really helps me sleep better at night, I get sleepy faster when reading or playing casual games in bed with the low color temperature filter. Also less annoying if you have to check your phone in a dim meetingconference room.

It works well unrooted, but of course the root driver will always be superior. I wish there was a way to darken the software keys in non-root mode. Otherwise this is a great app whether rooted or unrooted (I'd recommend using the app when rooted though).

Good app. 1 issue: if you make the nav and the status bars auto hide, then it won't draw over the whole screen, there is a gap at the top where the app doesn't reach over. Please fix for 5 stars and buy :) Thank you!

Most recent updates have utterly broken this app (using CF or KCAL driver). Every time superuser access is granted, CFL stops, when accessibility services settings are modified, the root driver stops working, getting random flashes of the filter turning off etc. N5X 6.0.1.

Took a little while to get used to, but in the end it is surprisingly useful. Easy on the eyes when reading in the dark. It's an app I reinstall every time I flash. 10/10, it's a must have!

I was not surprised by the incredible performance of the app nor by the ease of use. After all the author is the one and ONLY - ChainFire. This software is in a class of its own. Thanks for all your efforts and gifts.

UI is bit complicated. If we have a widget to quickly switch between modes it will be great. Once you figure out things its very handy app !!

Using it with root drivers is a sublime experience, no issues at all and without the doubt the best screen filter available. BUT I would love for this to incorporate the ability to add custom quick tiles for nougat devices, so to trigger or end night mode in the quick settings.

Drivers issue.... Was working fine in aosp nougat roms... Now on stock MIUI and only 2 drivers showing instead of 3... Best quality and rootless.... Best quality lags and rootless does nothing...

This app is great. It really saves my eyes at night. It would be awesome if 7.1 launcher shortcuts got added though for switching modes and enabling/disabling

ChainFire! You understand the human need precisely. I was controlling temperature and brightness on Lineage os manually. Your apps make life much easier. The brains behind these apps are praiseworthy. This blue light filter is awesome, I'm gonna buy it

Great app! First app installed after rooting. However, having issues with the filter as it always reverts back to the manual custom filter somehow.

It's great! At least, for the most part. I'm a sucker for diverse options, so after a few minutes of playing with it; I bought it. Unfortunately, while I am fond of it, I will reluctantly be switching to Twilight due to two rather annoying bugs. For one, there's a small strip at the top that won't the filter won't reach. This problem seems to occur when an app hides away the notification bar. For example, when reading in moon+ Reader or viewing pictures in QuickPic or Gallery. Secondly, CF. lumen completely stops working once you enter Settings (for the phone, not the app's). Once you exit, it'll start working again. Occasionally, it'll turn off when switching apps, but it'll come back after a second or two. I would have put up with this if there was the norm for un-rooted phones with filters, but Twilight has neither of these problems, so I'm migrating for now 'til the problem is fixed. Until then, 3 stars. Thanks for your work though, developers. Also, keep in mind, I'm un-rooted; this probably isn't a problem with rooted phones. Best of luck to you all.

Great app. Works perfectly, except ever since I got android Oreo, there's a constant notification saying cf.lumen is running in the background. Is there any way to take that off? Thanks

This isn't a filter, unlike other blue light filter apps, it layers a color over your screen to reduce blue light exposure, with this app, it goes from the root level and actually replaces every blue pixel from your display with a color of your choosing, this is a really great app for root users, would highly recommend

When rooted this is by far the best blue light filter for AMOLED screens... No more horrible light red tint across black bits. This does true colour tinting and let's black pixels be turned off.

A quick tile icon to toggle CF.lumen app will be a great addition. Now i have to go to the app to disable it before taking a screenshot or at times when i want full brightness at night.

One bug though. Rotating the phone causes the screen to go noticeably redder -- but just for a second.

Great app! Even if you are not root, it will place a filter based on an existing preset or temperature. A must have for everyone.

Fixed my screen burn/ghost image issue on Moto g4 plus. Without root. Brilliant.

I've been using this for well over two years every day on both my phone and tablet. This app is the main reason I want to root my Android devices. It's almost impossible for me to understand why none of the big brands have implemented something like this on their custom ROMs. It would be a selling point buyers could actually appreciate unlike the standard bloatware many want to get rid of. If your phone is rooted, install this app. Period.

It works great, but even after enabling (Launch on boot) it doesn't, means after every reboot I'm launching this app manually.

Why does the disable button only disable for an hour? I can't predict what I'll be doing one hour into the future so this is pointless. Add the option to adjust this feature / make it disable permenantly.

All blue light filter apps except this just add pink colour... This one really helps alot..Thanks developer

some bugs, red filter feels like it's tied to the activity. as soon as I swipe the recent screen away the filter goes away. did the same thing in Flux, and it did not remove the filter

Excellent app! With cf.lumen on my phone and flux and my computer, I sleep better. I would have just a small request: If possible, would you have time to add an option to change saturation, gamma, contrast and vibrance? 

Pretty good filter. Only some screen flickering and not possible to lower brightness below default settings.

WARNING!!! I installed immediately after finding out chainfire sold supersu to Chinese shady company. Can't trust developer with root access.

Extremely happy with the result. Works perfectly even if I'm not rooted and does the job. Haven't noticed any battery life hits so I'd say it's worth getting and purchasing.

Works well. There are many options if you want to dabble but it's not necessary. Top marks.

Works great. The options to tweak the settings really makes this a great app. The option to quickly disable if needed is good feature too.

Better than flux for android. Works best on a rooted device. Non root mode is a joke for all screen dimmers.

I don't know about whether it makes our sleep peaceful or jot hut I feel more comfortable using colour filters on my LCD screen.

Works really well. A quick toggle in the notifications bar would be awesome for toggling between modes

Using this on my Idol 3 instantly works out the box. Really helps with the eyes!

Great. Nothing left to be desired. Although the sliders in settings are too delicate to set a precise value.

Amazing, actually calibrates the monitor instead off applying a filter. It keeps the blacks black, which is really helpful especially on OLED screens.

We must be allowed to add location coordinates manually. It doesn't start after boot completion. Else superb!
