Sunshine Compass calculates the sun positions of today and visualizes them in an amazing Augmented Reality (AR) view. The integrated True North compass is easy to use and helps you to orient yourself.

I can't get it to work right. The settings are limited. I'm going to try it a few more days. I want something do I can garden and find sunny/shady areas. It's not the same in summer vs winter. I think a few features didn't work when I first tried it. I dumped it and added it again.

This is a different type of sun tracking app. Not only does it show the actual position of the sun using the phones camera, compass, etc. but it shows the past and future positions. This is a pretty neat app.

I faind it very usefull-cloudy sky but I know where is the sun,when I choose parking spot under trees,at early morning I know the location where the sun will rise,on the beach is good to know the path of the sun. Thanks!

Accurate and extremely useful if you need to predict our local star's position relative to your own whereabouts on a spinning ball of dirt in a godless vacuous universe. Going to be so handy during the beach months. Just what the doctor ordered.

As others have commented, an otherwise nice app is rendered useless by a wildly incorrect compass. My compass is working fine in a half dozen other similar apps. Moto X 2013, 5.1. I'll help you debug if you like.

This is fantastic! I have been trying to figure out where to plant things in my new yard, which has a South facing hill shaded by tall trees. By using this app from various positions around the yard, I was able to figure out how much sun will reach various spots throughout the year. It will help me figure out the best angle for my sun shade too. FYI, if you have trouble with accuracy, use the figure 8 method to re-calibrate the sensors on your phone. You can find info online or in your phone settings for how to do that.
