While I must give credit where it's due, hence the neutral rating of 3 stars, I must also point out where something lacks. Developers. Just add an option in the sorting menu of Folders for Last Date Modified. I guarantee this small addition will greatly improve the popularity of your app due to the fact that downloaded pictures are often lost in a specified folder due to it's 'original date' being days to years off from the date they were downloaded. It's a minor addition that would appeal to the other spectrum of users who prefer downloaded content over photos they take themselves.

Works pretty well but one big problem, it can read but not write (delete files, edit geo tags etc) to external SD...

I was looking for a gallery that could give me detailed information about my pictures, and this one does.

Even though it's selected in the settings and all permissions are given. Also crashed within 5 minutes two times. And how can I access a view likening the 3.picture of the apps add sample picture saying "start a sideshow, label your... ?

You cannot save or share anything you make in this app.

Doesn't update any photos from my sdcard. Only the builtin memory. Gave it all the access rights it asked for and nothing. Reply to the reply: Already tried adding the sdcard path to the settings - didn't help

Fantastic, finally found photo app that does what I need. Perfect for travel photography. In particular, the geo tagging and integration with Google Maps is excellent and very powerful. . Just need it to integrate with Dropbox in the same manner as Quickpic does, so that I can access all my pictures.

This seems to tick nearly all the boxes as far as I am concerned, but I especially appreciate that it shows my IPTC captions on the images. That is a plus over F-stop, which is also a very good app.

I need to prove what day a picture was originally taken unfortunately you cannot help me. Any app someone can suggest. because the app that you guys have is fake prank very disappointed in a waste of my time. you should announce to others that this is a game intended for kids. :( uninstalled 7040N android

With multiple scanning, camera apps, screen shots, etc. photos end up all over a phone. This tames them.

Professionally organise your photos in groups of latest or last 6 months or a year ago and also total group so you can get quick access anytime anywhere. AWESOME!

Some suggestions: 1. give the possibility of searching google maps when adding geotag. 2. Possibility of adding the same geotag to a group of selected photos.

Just what I need for my photos. My memory isn't what it used to be.

I have been looking for an app for a year that allows me to display the IPTC caption with the image, and this does it! I have scanned 2000 slides I took in the 70's which I attached captions to using exiftool. It's great to see them appear on my tablet! Now - any chance of selecting photos based on the content of the caption? (Eg just display photos that contain a particular string of text). That would be superb!

I like and others, I just can't figure out. I like the way it groups by date and all that. Can't figure out for the life of me how to make the geotagging function work. I have a photo in gallery that I want to geotag with a pin in Kirchheimbolanden Germany and can't get the pin to embed into the image. Is there an instruction link somewhere that offers some kind of tutorial on this program? That would be very cool to know how this program works. Thanks.

After the new Android update I'm really frustrated with what they gave done to the photo gallery. This app gave me back the old style of gallery with the photos sorted according to albums and not date. I love the other options too. Searching photos now is much better

Good way to see pictures

This is a good app with great potential. However use over a period of time has highlighted some deficiences/bugs. Good Points: Displays the IPTC Caption (but see below) and shows the photo on a map. Uses the Geocode data to retrieve a local copy of the country/place of taking the photo. Fast. Bad Points. Relatively little flexibility in selecting fields to be displayed. It builds a local copy of location data and ignores the (carefully crafted) data stored in the IPTC image fields. It doesn't allow for opt in/ opt out of folders. I really only want one folder displayed BUGS. I had an apparent bug: read on. **Further to the BUG above**: Eagle eye contacted me asking for a copy of an offending photo. EXCELLENT service. However I have resolved this issue and it is my (or rather the software on my PC's) problem that incorrectly populated that data (thanks EXIFTOOL for helping our here). In view of this I am upgrading to four stars. I would upgrade to five stars when (if?) the ability to opt in /out of folders is added (I really only want one folder; do not want facebook, ads, local camera etc). Also really good would be the ability to use locations from the IPTC data.
