Our local family butchers and delicatessens sixty years on. Today, Kevin and Máire’s son, Micheal Ó Crualaoí, operates the chain of Ó Crualaoí’s local family butchers and delicatessens. Along with his team of management and staff, Micheal continues to maintain the Ó Crualaoí ‘food philosophy’ that was instilled in him from a young age. It’s a vision that’s shared by our managing director, Francis Twohig, who trained as a butcher in the original shop over 30 years ago; and Noel Mc Namara, Ó Crualaoí’s ‘master butcher’, who carefully assesses the quality of the meat across all our stores. Times change; however, for the next generation of the Ó Crualaoí family business, their approach to food production stays the same excellent-tasting food requires complete integrity and full traceability.
