Current probability to see aurora (aurora borealis / aurora australis / northern lights / southern lights) overhead at your location.
Forecasts for next 3 days and next 27 days, image of north and south hemisphere which shows area where northern and southern lights are visible now.
Notifications / alerts tell you when aurora forecast shows that aurora activity would be high, and notify you when aurora activity is currently high. You can turn on/off notifications in application settings.

If you like the softservenews site, you'll like this app. It provides the same type of outlook and provides current ovation for both hemispheres. You can customize which hemisphere(s) you see the ovation for so you can exclude the one you don't need. Hopefully it will work on location (where I often have little cell service) a little better than trying to access softservenews on the internet! I dropped a star for motion ads, this would be a 5-star app if there was option to purchase to get rid of the ads.

The pop-up add prevents the app from working . . .constantly flickers as though there's an struggle between the add & the app data. Have to delete it.
