Deerc FPV

When I got a quad, this app wouldn't work on any phone I had newer than 2010. there is an update, it works with at least one of my devices, and am waiting for a good day to enjoy it, but the new version has been tested and does not drop wifi when the quad starts. Thanks for the update

I had a few problems with the app not responding after being connected to WiFi.I uninstalled it,then reinstalled it works now.

Installed ver. 1.3 (update Nov 1 2016) on ACER A100 (Android 4.0.3) installed OK — unlike ver. 1.1 (parsing error!) — but clicking on the "Play" control on Holy Stone's plash page immediately crashes the app. Runs OK on a BLU Advance 4.0L smartphone (4" display), but does not display the RH controls for "Headless/Normal" along with the trim control for "Forward/Reverse" Will be interesting to see what happens with the BLU Advance 5.0 (5" display) which is "on the way". I always thought that apps were supposed to scale according to display size. So far: Not impressed! PS if it says "This app is compatible with all of your devices." that's what I expect. It doesn't mention a minimum display size or restrict it to smartphones. 2017/05/06 Just updated the app (to 1.3) on the BLU Advance 5.0. The update now works as I would expect it on that Smartphone. But still not working on the ACER A100 (Android 4.0.3). the splash screen opens but that's as far as it gets. :( selecting Start or Help shuts down the app. Any suggestions??

WIfi continuously drops from Nexus 6P running Android 7.1. I got my chromebook to stay connected to the WiFi, but the app never got beyong the initial spinning icon after hitting the play button. In short, this failed to work at all on 2 separate devices.

This app works exactly as it's supposed too. The problem connecting that most of the users leaving bad reviews are having is caused by an Android setting. In your wifi settings menu tap on the menu bar in the top right corner and select advanced. Turn off the "Avoid bad Wi-Fi connections" option. This feature essentially disables any wifi connection without internet access, which your drone doesn't have. After you turn off this setting make sure your connected to the drones wifi and the app should work.

This app worked initially with my Samsung Galaxy note 5 but no longer functions it just freezes up every time I try to use it. I have no clue why. Also I don't know why Holystone bothers to send you a USB adapter for your personal computer as you can only see pictures and the videos will not play and an error pops up that says video is not supported.. After only first time of taking pictures my computer would no longer be able to find the new pictures I took after the initial ones. Bizarre.

All right everyone... The instructions the drone comes with can be a bit confusing. It says go to Settings in mobile... That means your phone. Not you app. Connect to it like it is wifi. Boom, it works.

A good app, but flawed. On any of my three smartphones, I can only use one control stick at a time - yaw and throttle or pitch and roll. Instead another one of the apps by this author, SkyVue_Drone, works much better, gives me all the control I need and functions as this app should do. I am flying a Holy Stone HS110W drone and the SkyVue app works better with it.

I opened my wifi settings on my phone, found the drone connection, clicked on it, and then opened this app, just as the instructions said that came with my drone. If you dont know wtf you're doing give your drone to someone who does, this isnt hard to do

App only works maybe half the time on my phone. I've tried it on my friend's, and some work some don't. Very inconsistent performance.

Does not work on S8. I connected to WiFi, but do not get video... continuous spinning circle. Also, your email associated with this app does not work.

Took me a while to understand that you need to press the 'atmospheric pressure' button for the take off / land buttons to appear. But aside from that, it works well.

Drone doesn't work properly and the app never work! I will return it!

Just wish u can send the videos to Youtube ir save them in your gallery were they dont let u see them

Forget fiddling with settings - turn off mobile data in your settings entirely to get it to work. Does have some intermittent lag/freezing in the feed, even when the drone is right next to the phone.

Does not connect or wifi with the drone. Total garbage fix it or stop selling a non-functional drone.

Real time .... Nope doesn't work so thank u but if i can't. See what I'm looking at how am i supposed to see birds in the forest or trees and take pictures if real time work i give it 5 stars so please tell me how to fix or do iton new products.

I got the drone for Christmas, flew it multiple times and it crashed. But when I record and watch the video after, the icons are normal but the video is upside down. I don't know if its from the crashing or the app.

Killed my GoEx Launcher. I uninstalled deerc FPV and GoEx. I then reinstalled both and it did the same thing. Do NOT use this app.

I like it it helps me fly my drone farther like where i cont see it

All Good - BUT , Where can i find the recorded files on Android - specifically what folder - where?? AND is there an upgraded option for 1080 camera??
