EZ Wifi Notification for Android
There's a lag of varying length from time of event (connect - disconnect) and time of notification. Would be great if that could be improved on.
App failed a test to notify (via vibrarion) when I lost WiFi connectivity. Easily a deal breaker
This app has a major bug. Every time I get a text message, it tells me my wi-fi is disconnected, even though it isn't . The sound notifications are a plus, and it is the only reason I'm keeping this app.
First impressions (on moto G 1st gen, Android 5.1 as of 2016.07): +quite customisable -the notification strip is sticky and stays on whether wifi is on or off -if you disable the notification icon then you'll get no sound or vibration -seems to have a bit of lag when changing networks -even with wifi off the app tells me I'm connected to some kind of wifi
Sound notification not working when my phone is in lock mode. Using oppo F1S
This does exactly what it says and exactly what I need. 5/5 sir.
It needs an independent volume control for notifications sound.
well
Nexus 4. It never notifies me when both Mobile and WiFi connections are gone. The messages could be clearer. When I leave home and lose my wifi connection, the notification is that mobile data is now enabled I would love to see a desc of when not if is triggered. I just enabled preference to show alt icon when wifi is lost and several times it has changed to that icon and notified me wifi is lost even though it is not. Opening app puts back the correct 'connected' icon.
Worked well for about 2 weeks, then started to show WiFi "disconnected" and in the notification bar it tells me I am connected to mobile network, but when I check my WiFi settings I am actually connected via WiFi. What happened? Why did it change?
But there is a couple issues. You can't keep app sound working when you disable notification icon, you also can't keep sound notification on an change pull down notification to display bssid, or ip...so it just has to be basic the more you change in setting the less it might work. I am using a Samsung galaxy s5 ...will be trying on note 4 next. Over all i like the app an can live with these inprefections..still worth ☆☆☆☆..!!¡¡!!..
Great app for getting notifications about type of current data connection. Please add few notification sounds for Wi-Fi, Mobile Data connections/disconnections.
Seemed to report inaccurate connection status. I do love that you can show the MAC address of the WAP and of course the IP address pulled.
Kindly add 1more feature ,notify when hotspot enable and my other device connects
Notification lags. Let's me know after the fact.
It made my life somewhat simpler I tell u what.
Thank you
Excellent
Despite its description, there is no audible notification, nor is there any special icon in the notification bar, except when you slide it down manually. The lights don't blink, this app does not serve my purposes
Perfecto app and battery saver too. Just when you think you turned your Wi-Fi off and then check your phone after a few hours your Wi-Fi is still running now with this it instantly notifies you with a sound when it's connected and disconnected. Get this, believe that.
Keeps showing mobile when connected via wifi.
Damn app
I was missing an ongoing notification screen WiFi connection status on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4. This app restored that capability.
I Lost My Wifi outgoing Notification . This SOFTWARE HELP ME restore back .GooD....
I had this app for a few weeks and I was driving me nuts. No matter what I did with the settings, I would always get constant, and frequent notifications that I was off my wifi, even when I had wifi off. Yuck.
Very usefull
This app is very useful for seeing my IP at a glance. However, the fact that it turns the notification light every time I connect may ultimately make me uninstall it.

It is a simple but very useful app which does exactly what it says it will: puts a wifi notification and quick access point in your notification menu. At the moment the app warrants 4.5 stars, so I rounded up to 5. With one or two small changes, it will be a fulL 5 star app :). SUGGESTIONS TO DEVELOPER: 1. Config option to remove the status icon. 2. It would be useful to be able to see the top-level IP as well as the local IP. 3. Also would be nice to see the link speed in the notification bar
It's not even letting me get on the internet, even tho I am connected via Wi-Fi.... Don't no what's up with this but sure would like it if it did work cuz I live off of my Wi-Fi....
100%
This is an app which really need, but it doesn't seem to be working entirely correctly. It will often not update the status to indicate a WiFi connection, but instead will continue to say, "Mobile" for the connection (when I know i'm on WiFi). Not very useful if it doesn't update properly and timely.
The size of the font needs to be bigger. Remove "connected via wifi" it just a waste of space. I already know I'm on Wi-Fi from the android icon
Very handy

Good app works perfect on my s3. But there should be setting to control LED on/off on notification. For me just the sound notification is enough.
just one word "excellent "
sound plays important role.
Simple and does exactly what it needs to do.

I don't often give an app 5 stars. But I have been looking for some time, for something to do exactly what this thing does, ...and does very well. With limited data, it's critical that my wife is notified when wifi drops out. She's a dreamer, and a streamer and I encourage both, but when there's no Wi-Fi the stream must be reduced to a trickle. Thank you !
