About Music Tutor Fret Master
Learn the notes on your guitar! MusicTutor FretMaster is designed to help you learn the correspondence between notes and positions in the fretboard.
The game shows a position on the fretboard. The goal is to enter the correct note for that position. If it is correct, another question is made.
The game can be timed. It counts correct and wrong answers, and when the time is over, it shows a score based on results. This can be thought as a 'test' or 'exam' mode.
For non-timed games, a 'learn' (or 'study') mode is available. When activated, entering notes makes the correspondenting position(s) to be shown on the fretboard.
It is possible to play with no accidentals (only natural notes). Notation can be CDE or DoReMi.
Length of fretboard can be short (frets 0-5) or long (frets 0 - 12).
There are additional bass presets for 4 or 5 string bass. The appearance and sound is bass-like. It is recommended to use headphones or external speakers for quality bass sound.

I've tried many of these and this one is simple and well done and exactly what I was looking for to practice on the go! 5 stars if you are able to change the orientation to landscape to more closely resemble what the fretboard looks like as your playing. Great job!

A fantastic app!! Not sure if I'm using it to its full potential but I'm sooooo glad it has a lefty option (being one i have got used to and prefer a right handed diagram as its a perfect mirror image... but still a neat option to have!!!) . WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

The perfect ap to help you learn the notes on the neck. I've been using it to get better with my 5 string bass. It works great. The only other feature it could use would be a setting to allow you to use alternative tunings. Highly recommended, and a must have.

The annoying background sound is completely pointless. I find myself not being able to use this app while listening to the music or even out in public because that freaking sound won't turn off!!!!

The game is really good, it felt akward on the lite version but, its comfortable here. There is something that's missing and that's the staff in treble clef on the side, for true progress. please add that and there will be no doubts for the best guitar note app. Check out FRETBOARD ADDICT it has all the features but, your app just feels entertaining and user friendly, that's what will make you keep playing it and advance just add that MUSIC STAFF so we don't have to keep referring to other stuff!!

It's great for beginners and people who really want to get familiar with the fret board. It will let you get friendly with your fret boad. It does not have much options to play with.. I think it's time to update the app.. The best part about this app is it any time anywhere... Very convenient..
