No Video Player

Very few options. Why can't i choose which file to play via in app file brower? I hate having to go through gallery, as i have an well organized and complex file system

I tried it on my Galaxy Tab 3. I click a video and it says "unfortunately no video player has stopped working". I cant even open a video, much less play it in the background

need it on Facebook , and other videoplayers or browsers

I have been quite a fan of this player as it allows me to play the videos in audio only mode. It used to work flawlessly on my Samsung galaxy s2. I also downloaded it on my one plus one, but there I m unable to run in audio only mode. Kindly fix the issue.

okay, the short version is "just install, go for it - works as on the tin; no permissions, no ads, no nonsense can play with video but the main benefit is of course just playing the sound of whatever video (think for example some debate or lecture - although it technically works for blockbuster movies too ;p ) without draining the battery" there's some quirks, it's not selectable as part of the list of installed players but clicking the squares in the bottom left leads you to the gallery from where you can open the file. there's some minor quirks with the seek-bar and position, mostly notable when playing really long videos and going back in and out of the video view Now here's the :-( part it worked perfectly with all sorts of filetypes on my samsung s3, but I can't get it to play anything on my s5 (both stock firmware/android) , and the first and last update was in 2011 ... despite that last bit, and that I'm hoping the dev didn't abandon it altogether - it's still worth 5 stars..

Used to work great…until a few Android versions ago. Now it doesn't, there is no way to play videos with this app.

It's the software I was waiting for. Unfortunately Not working on my Sony T2 Ultra. However after bug fixes please make it work even the screen is closed and locked, just as default music players. Then only we can enjoy it.

Menus don't work

Please add filenames. You are ruining the potentially superb app!

Great app - it actually remembers where u were even when u close & reopen. Wish video wd be full screen when I want to watch. I'd pay 4 for it!

I use Quik Pic app it shows names of vids as well and works brill with No video player app. NVP the tops. Thanks.

Excellent idea. This is great for workout videos I bring to the gym. P90X fans will love it.

Does not work...HTC hero...uninstall

Im on a moto droid and every time i rotate the phone or turn off the screen the video restarts from the beginning with some lag time...

I installed this app to play a Video file with the screen off so I can just listen to it. The app uses gallery to find videos and when I choose what I want it to play, it does nothing. I hit the button to have it show the video and the app crashes. Don't waste your time on this one.

It wrkd before. but after kitkat update , it doesn't work on galaxy note 3.do smthnggggg

It a great app

This app is not for music or album like what poweramp do but for recorded show: e.g. mp4 download from youtube, school lecture, video memo etc. The features like remember and play from last position, switching video when I want are so unique and just fit what I want. It will be better if mp3 also support and showing icon in the notification area.

Amazing idea!!! Works PERFECTLY & I use it daily for years now! I can listen to episodes while playing game apps or use it to save battery or while falling asleep... Endless possibilities! Wish it came w/ built-in file manager tho... (TIP: Use a 3rd party File Explorer for default manager bc gallery has nameless thumbnails.).

After start the app I can only see a big black screen with a tiny white line at the left corner. Menu button doesn't work. Cr@p

A lot of people are complaining about the lack of file names, and yeah, I know there's not much you can do about that since you're using the default Gallery (which was apparently designed by a bunch of preschoolers). But if you're not up to writing your own file selection UI, could you please at least make NVP register itself as a video player so that it can be chosen from other explorers?

does a great job and is easy on battery life. perfect for listening to video with no video playback. can also turn the screen off in playback. This app scored the best in permission friendly. Needs no permissions. Simple smart app
