Locate your contacts that have Doko installed.

Flexible permission management. Enable and disable the app whenever you want, and decide which contacts can locate you and which cannot.

Doko is free. It has no adds and it does not store any kind of personal data, neither about you, your contacts or the usage you do of the app.

Doko Beta works ONLY in mobile handsets. It does NOT work on tablets.

During the service registration process, Doko sends an SMS to +34953140009 to verify your telephone number. The cost of this SMS is the cost for SMSs to standard numbers in Spain. It is NOT a premium number.

This version of Doko is a test pilot. The objective is to improve usability and functionality. You can contribute by sending comments and suggestions via the following channels:

Reasons for main Android permissions:

INTERNET communication with server and with Google Cloud Messaging
GET_ACCOUNTS creation of Doko account in the handset
READ_PHONE_STATE read IMSI to manage permissions in case of changing the SIM of the handset
READ_CONTACTS read contacts in phonebook
SEND_SMS send registration SMS
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION location services
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE check network interfaces to ensure that access to the Internet is possible
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE store location data in your mobile handset

Disclaimer:
Doko Beta is a test version. Although it has been tested by limited number of alpha testers using mobile handset of different brands, models and Android versions, it proper working is not guaranteed. The objective of this beta version is to detect service errors and bugs and improve its behaviour for the app to work well for most users.
The service for the SMS-based registration process is provided by Textlocal Ltd. In some cases, the reception of the registration SMS in our server may be delayed or may fail. In case of failure, Doko will requests permission to send another SMS to the activate the service.
Doko Beta does NOT encrypt the data sent to the server. The location request and responses with the actual location data is send in clear text. The responses, however, do not identify explicitly the user.
Spinlogic is NOT responsible for the usage of the application, its correct functioning, the accuracy of the location data or any kind of service failure.
Spinlogic reserves the right to suspend and limit activity of any account, and to cancel the service without warning.
