Google Apps says the file is a .kml file so should be fine in Google Earth. Saved file has .xml extension and i can't find any app to open and view the track. Sorry, but I'm going to request my 50 pence back. will buy again if this gets fixed.

To open a generated XML file in a map app (like Google Earth), simply change the file extension to KML (Keyhole Markup Language is an XML notation for expressing geographic annotation). Very detailed & extensive files are created.
