The underlying use of the Term code makes this tool outstanding for working with Bluetooth-based consoles: It neatly processes control codes and doesn't get confused by the two-way transfer. Text sent and received are correctly interleaved without missing chars. The only thing I was unable to use was the backspace key.

Works great for access to a Bluetooth serial console. Except it won't let you do an underscore. Also wish it had the pop-up extended keyboard for the special keys like JuiceSSH. Maybe you should join forces?

U70%
by U####:

This would be a GREAT term if the author would fix it so the CTRL & ALT keys work. As is it's kind of USE LESS for donig any serious work at the console. Couldn't figure out how to do a CTRL key sequence.

Using an S6 Edge but it does not work. There is only a blue screen and there are no options to connect phone. Touching the screen anywhere only brings up the keyboard but can't type anything using it.

U70%
by U####:

Granted; the last update to this app was in 2013 so this works on older phones that have a menu button but for any newer phones be warned you won't be able to show the menu for connecting.

E70%

Excellent app! Was searching myself to death for a console client that supports the rich text/escape codes similar to putty AND connects via bluetooth module (HC-06). Excellent work!

Just shows a blue screen with no options

Couldn't type anything in, all it's good for is promoting an outdated crowdfunding campaign.

My PIC is sending data which can be viewd in senabterm app...bt here is shows blank spaces and only ascii...also the log file contains all unidentified characters....kindly make ur blueterm ui to show unicode as well

Tried a few others but they weren't like a good ol' terminal. This one is! Use it on my Nexus 10.

N70%
by N####:

There is no send window to send commands to bluetooth module. Bluetooth terminal app by qwerty works perfectly and has a separate send window and display window for 2 way communication. Please distinguish send and receive windows in this app

I loved this app in my old Motorola Xoom, now I tried to use it on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and I can't connect to my Bluetooth adapter anymore, I only get a blue screen and there's no way to get the bottom bar to show up. Can you please fix this? Thank you!!! EDIT: Okay, learned I have to long - press the recent app key. Updated to 5 stars!

Worked "straight out of the box" with no messing around. Instant comms with Arduino with no fuss or bother. If there had been a Clear Screen option I would have given it 5 stars. As it is it is well worth the 4 stars I give it.

only problem I found is that it seems to only work with the default android keyboard (does not work with SwiftKey, for example)

Easy to set up and use, logging feature is great. Addition of volume button to adjust text size would be handy.

Not bad, but pressing backspace from Android keyboard does not render correctly on screen.

It's just a blue screen, no controls, just blue

Works very well and has been great for troubleshooting my bluetooth/arduino project. Only thing is that I can't open the menu from Galaxy Tab4 since it has no hardware menu button. Otherwise it would be 5 stars. EDIT: Okay, learned I have to long - press the recent app key. Updated to 5 stars!

Works great for communicating between a Nexus 7 tablet and a BlueSMiRF Bluetooth modem from Sparkfun. Communication worked in both directions. The only issue I have is the jog ball key being selected as the default for control key.

The key modifiers for sending special keys can be: Left Alt, Right Alt, Jog Ball and "@", hardware keys long lost in the android universe.
