El objetivo de este libro es abordar algunos de los problemas frecuentes ocurridos tras cirugía de rodilla y describir el método que se ha utilizado para solucionarlo. Este abordaje es un tanto inusual en los textos médicos que más bien tienden a organizar estas obras por capítulos, siguiendo un orden preestablecido aparentemente lógico (p.e. anatomía, biomecánica, lesión, tratamiento, etc...). En este proyecto, en cambio, la estructura es mucho más directa, describiéndose el problema y la solución ideal en el pensamiento de cada uno de los autores descrita paso a paso.
Esta obra resultará muy útil para todo aquel cirujano ortopédico que tenga interés en la patología de la rodilla y afronte problemas de este estilo de forma habitual.
La obra consta de 13 capítulos, complicaciones o malos resultados de cirugía previa, y los encargados de ofrecer la solución son 8 cirujanos españoles y 5 extranjeros (4 europeos y un norteamericano), todos con sobrada experiencia y reputación en el terreno de la cirugía de rodilla. En el caso de los autores extranjeros se respetará el texto original escrito en inglés, con objeto de reflejar fielmente el pensamiento del autor. The aim of this book is to address some of the common problems occurring after knee surgery and describe the method used to solve it. This approach is somewhat unusual in medical texts rather tend to organize these works by chapters, following a seemingly logical preset order (eg anatomy, biomechanics, injury, treatment, etc ...). In this project, however, the structure is much more direct, describing the problem and the best solution in the thinking of each of the authors described step by step.
This work will be very useful for anyone orthopedic surgeon with an interest in the pathology of the knee and face problems of this style as usual.
