La oración puede revolucionar tu vida. Fortalece al cansado, da sabiduría al simple, hace justicia al oprimido y da gozo al que llora. Lo más importante es que nos permite tener una relación viva con Dios.

iPray no busca entretenerte sino ayudarte a orar durante aproximadamente quince minutos: cantar, orar los salmos, dar gracias, arrepentirte e interceder; y todo esto sin distracciones.

iPray funciona mejor si usas tanto el texto como el audio. Los dos juntos te ayudarán a concentrarte más que uno solo.

iPray usa una rotación de 31 días. Cada día comienza con el número de día y el tema correspondiente. Luego sigue la doxología inicial (un breve himno de alabanza a Dios). La que se utiliza en el iPray está impresa en el texto del día 1 únicamente. Es fácil de recordar.

Después de la doxología se lee un pasaje de la Biblia sobre el tema del día y se brinda una breve meditación.

Esto es seguido por un canto y un salmo. Los cantos han sido escogidos para complementar el tema del día. Son cantos muy inspiradores.

El tono de los salmos está diseñado para cantar dos líneas. Las líneas están agrupadas juntas para dejar esto claro. Cuando hay tres líneas en lugar de dos, la primera línea termina en un tono más bajo que lo normal. Cada salmo finaliza con una doxología.

Sigue un tiempo de acción de gracias comenzando con un pasaje bíblico. Cada día tendrás 4 intenciones por las cuales agradecer a Dios. Después de cada intención hay una breve pausa en la que puedes hacer tu propio agradecimiento. (Siempre que quieras más tiempo para alguna intención puedes pausar el iPray) La última intención siempre será un recordatorio para agradecer por las bendiciones del día que pasó.

Seguidamente se proclama un pasaje sobre arrepentimiento seguido por algunos pecados por los que podrías arrepentirte cuando los hubieras cometido. Nuevamente, cada uno de estos momentos es seguido por una breve pausa para darte tiempo de responder. La última intervención siempre será un recordatorio de que hagas un examen de conciencia de las últimas 24 horas para buscar algún otro pecado que confesar a Dios y arrepentirte.

La intercesión mantiene el mismo formato. Se lee un pasaje de las escrituras y se te da un tiempo para que ores por las intenciones sugeridas. Cuando una intención está redactada en términos generales (p. ej. por aquellos que están en necesidad económica) es mejor orar específicamente cuando sea posible (p. ej. por mi tío que tiene problemas económicos).

Más adelante cantas otro salmo que refleja el tema del día.

Esto es seguido por la oración del Padrenuestro. Esta se encuentra escrita y grabada únicamente en el día 1.

iPray finaliza con un canto pero te animamos a continuar orando por tu cuenta. Podrías encontrar muy útil retomar uno de los salmos y decirlo nuevamente con tus propias palabras. O también puedes regresar al tema del día y seguir orando en esa línea. La meditación en silencio también te ayudará a crecer en cercanía con el Señor.

iPray incluye la Oración de la Noche, una breve oración para el final de cada día. Te recomendamos hacerla antes de dormir. Esta es la última de las grabaciones y el texto de la oración está después del día 31.

Puede ser que algún día quieras orar con un tema específico. La lista de los 31 temas en orden está al final de este documento. Puedes moverte hacia el día que prefieras escogiéndolo en el reproductor que estés utilizando para escuchar el iPray. *****************************

Prayer can revolutionize your life. Strength to the weary, making wise the simple, does justice to the oppressed and gives joy to weeping. The most important thing is that we have a living relationship with God.

iPray not seek help entertain but to pray for approximately fifteen minutes: singing, praying the psalms, give thanks, repent and intercede, and all this without distractions.

iPray works best if you use both text and audio. The two together will help you concentrate more than one.

iPray used a rotation of 31 days. Each day begins with the day number and the appropriate topic. Then follows the initial doxology (a short hymn of praise to God). That used in the iPray text is printed on the day 1 only. It is easy to remember.

After the doxology is read a passage from the Bible on the subject of the day and provides a brief meditation.

This is followed by a song and a psalm. The songs have been chosen to complement the theme of the day. They are very inspiring songs.

The tone of the Psalms is designed to sing two lines. The lines are grouped together to make this clear. When there are three lines instead of two, the first line ends in a lower tone than normal. Each psalm ends with a doxology.

Following a time of thanksgiving starting with a biblical passage. Each day will have 4 intentions for which to thank God. After each intention is a brief pause in which you can make your own appreciation. (Whenever you want more time for any intention you can pause the iPray) The ultimate aim will always be a reminder to give thanks for the blessings of the day happened.

Then followed a passage on repentance for sins that some might regret when you had committed proclaims. Again, each of these moments is followed by a brief pause to give you time to respond. The last intervention will always be a reminder to do some soul of the last 24 hours to find some other sin to confess to God and repent.

Intercession maintains the same format. A passage of scripture is read and gives you a time to pray for the suggested intentions. When an intention is drafted in general terms (eg. By those who are in financial need) is better pray specifically when possible (eg. Uncle by having economic problems).

Later you sing another psalm that reflects the theme of the day.

This is followed by the Lord's Prayer. This is written and recorded only on day 1.

iPray ends with a song but we encourage you to continue to pray for your account. Might find helpful resume one of the psalms and say it again in your own words. Or you can return to the topic of the day and keep praying on that line. Also silent meditation will help you grow in closeness to the Lord.

iPray includes Night Prayer, a short prayer for the end of each day. We recommend you do it before bed. This is the last of the recordings and the text of the prayer is after day 31.
