Teba es mucho más que naturaleza e historia, es un lugar perfecto para observar aves, algunas tan importantes como el alimoche, en peligro de extinción y para disfrutar de unos parajes naturales impresionantes, productos de la situación privilegiada de Teba. Teba posee un gran legado histórico, los restos arqueológicos nos muestran evidencias de los pobladores hace miles de años que ocuparon las orillas de sus ríos, así como la importante Cueva de las Palomas, pasando por la valiosa necrópolis megalítica de la Lentejuela, el poblado ibérico de los Castillejos y su necrópolis.
Destacamos la impresionante ciudad romana del Cortijo el Tajo, evidencian la importancia de Teba en cada época.
El castillo de la Estrella, baluarte e imagen de nuestro municipio, atesora siglos de historia entre sus muros, fue construido en el siglo XII y conquistado en 1330 por las tropas castellanas de Alfonso XI. La toma de la fortaleza se convirtió en una auténtica cruzada con la participación de unos caballeros escoceses que iban camino de Tierra Santa con el corazón del rey Robert the Bruce.
La Villa de Teba, muestra su sinuoso trazado urbano, declarado Conjunto Histórico Artístico, mantiene hoy día, algunas de sus casas populares y señoriales, como la del Marques de Greñina, o la de la emperatriz Eugenia de Montijo, condesa de Teba.
Distinguimos la majestuosa Iglesia de la Santa Cruz Real, magnifica muestra del barroco andaluz y la restaurada fachada del Convento de San Francisco S XVI.
