Torrent Tour

We invite you to go for a walk upwards to discover the hydraulic, natural and ethnographic heritage of l’Horteta ravine. It will be a journey to the past through the hydraulic infrastructures that our Roman, Muslim and Christian ancestors led us. We will cross nearby areas like the dam of Pantà or the Fountain of St Lluís, which is the origin of the irrigation channel of the Fonts, the one that originated the town of Torrent.

You will enjoy the agricultural environment travelling around the country house of Jutge and the archaeological remains of its Roman past. You can admire the emblematic constructions of the arches of both Dalt and Baix that have been restored recently, which conducted the water to the nearby orchards of the mountain Perenxisa.
Go inside natural spaces like the Clot del Bailon or the fountain of the Teula, discovering ancient jobs and traditional productions in the rich rural heritage that you will find in the ravine.
