Márgenes de silencio

Helga de Alvear (Kirn, Alemania, 1936) fue reconocida en el año 2010 como una de las 100 personas más relevantes e influyentes en el mundo del arte dentro de la afamada lista "Power 100". En ese mismo año se abrió al público el Centro de Artes Visuales Fundación Helga de Alvear en Cáceres, con la exposición "Márgenes de silencio", una selección de 115 obras de la Colección Helga de Alvear.

Esta primera muestra en el Centro de Artes Visuales Centro de Artes Visuales Cáceres pretende transmitir la variedad de momentos cruciales del desarrollo del arte actual que están en la colección, la singularidad de obras, ideas, procedimientos y técnicas que confluyen en el interés del conjunto.

No obstante, la actual selección representa fielmente la evolución del interés de Helga de Alvear, las líneas de afinidad que ha desarrollado en el contraste de su experiencia en un medio en el que es necesario permanecer atento continuamente.

En esta propuesta las obras van a dialogar bien en el espacio, y entre ellas, en un triple coloquio relacionado para que la experiencia artística desarrolle su potencialidad de comunicación.

In the same year he opened on Visual Arts Center Foundation Helga de Alvear in Caceres, with the exhibition "Borders of silence", a selection of 115 works from the Helga de Alvear Collection.
