About Wifi Notify

Wifi control and network information directly from your notification bar.

This tiny utility shows the wifi state and the information you configure in a permanent notification and also,
if you click the notification, the state of the wifi is changed (for example, if connected it will be disconnected).

You can choose notification color, if you want an icon in the notification bar when wifi is on and not connected and also if the notification information will be auto-updated and seconds between updates.

Worked nicely on s5 and s3, on s7 when wifi is on but not connected notification shows like it's still connected to last AP. Doesn't update itself to not connected state. Might be related to android 6.

Would be better if you click the notification it would take you to the wifi settings. Most android phones have a wifi on off switch

K70%

Tapping the app should take you to WiFi settings instead of switching it off, it's too easy to disable by mistake. Please add option for black background.

R70%
by R####:

It should tell you what network your phone is trying to connect to.

Don't show notification when not connected doesn't work (no icon but still has text). Watch wifi state for changes instead of polling.

Ok but what I really need is notification when I am connected to wifi but my router has lost internet.

Worked great on g2x no longer necessary on my galaxy s3. Built into notification system on s3. Great app for those who need it.

Was looking for a simple app that would let me know which WiFi AP I was connected to, this worked well. Like others said, though, tapping the notification should take you to WiFi settings, not turn off WiFi. Motorola Droid Razr xt912

Two things that would make this awesome: 1 tapping the icon should be optional as well 2 allow for a different icons (current one is a lottle dim)

Ok app but it kills battery

I could use this app if it could open when you pull down notification bar

It's nice to see the wifi info in the notifications, but I propose a few changes: -Tapping the wifi notification lets you select a wifi network instead of toggle wifi on/off -Use an alternate icon instead of blank icon when wifi is off. Looks weird having other icons spaced too far apart. -Just show the SSID instead of 'WiFi connected to "SSID"' or allow users to choose between both options. -Change the current icon to something else recognizable as wifi. The current icon is too small to recognize instantly

I like seeing the wifi info in the notify window. Clicking in the notify window should open options instead of wifi on off.Wifi icon does that already
