The only app I've found which will show you the contacts sorted by creation (modification?) date. There are some drawbacks (simple design, sometimes it does not point to the right contact), but as it's the only app out there which does this and as it's got a tiny footprint in size and cpu, it's definitely worth its five stars.

Leaving the bar drunk you can now see who put their number in your phone. Priceless!
